Cobain gave a copy of 'fecal-matter' which he recorded in his aunts house to Chris Novelsic.They recruited Chad Channing as their drummer and recorded their first album 'Bleach' with Sub-Pop records in 1989. Channing was fired in '90 and they found a drummer called Dave Grohl. The album Nevermind was recorded which included their most popular song 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. In 1993, Incesticide was released as a filler between Nevermind and thier next album In Utero. The last album they released was a live acoustic set which was recorded months before Kurt's death and was called Unplugged in New York. Kurts committed suicide in April of 1994, though there is much controversy over his death. Many fans believe he was murdered. In November 2004 a box set was released containing 68 previously unreleased tracks and rare footage on a dvd. Kurt will be remembered as one of the great song writers of all time.
Nirvana will be remembered as one of, if not the best band ever.
