Hai! My name is Corinne Carstairs & I live in a region which is ruled by rumours, immaturity and shallow-minded fools. I'm singled out of society due to my individuality, my open lifestyle and the fact I'm not afraid to be who I am. We sadly live in a generation where people are judged by social networking websites, in a generation where you are branded a 'freak' for breaking the normality.
I'm a joke to most people, only because they are too young & immature to understand my interests and lifestyle. I've come to realize that some people never change and there is little hope for the younger generation.

The year of 2008 has ended and I'm going to ensure that 2009 rolls by smoothly. I'm moderately organised but I'm terrible at making choices and being motivated. The purpose of this blog is to provide me with goals that I need to fulfill.

"Why are you called Kari Rose, Cori?"
If your a close friend of mine, you will probably know the reasoning behind this blog but it's become apparent that my nickname is nothing more than a stupid piss-take to some people.
1. I'm aware my real name is Corinne Carstairs, I've never denied that. I however never ever have had 'Cori Carstairs' as my display name on any social networking site. I have always hidden under a different alias because I don't like the appearance of my name when it is typed out. Yes, it's that simple.
2. I've had the alias of Kari Rose for a good couple of years now, so it's irritating when people attempt to take the piss out of something that has been around for a long time and they just found out about it.
3. I got the alias Kari Rose by combining my favourite Digimon character Kari with the name Gypsy ROSE Lee from the movie Gypsy and Amy Rose from Sonic the Hedgehog. Kari Rose then became my online alias. A large majority of people on the Internet use a different name, it's not considered a big deal.
4. Regardless of my personal hate for my name Cori, I still prefer being called Cori in real life. I am quick to snap at people who call me Kari personally because it's nothing more than an alias I use online.
5. It's quite sad, but somewhat amusing how people make such a big deal about my Bebo profile to the extent they can recite everything I've wrote on my profile at some point or another. Just because my display name is different from my birth name doesn't mean I'm a big deal. Just because I have a high friend, love and page view count does not mean I'm 'famous', ahaha! I'm done with Bebo and I'm only here for a selected few friends. I'm sick of the drama and the fact people lurk my profile daily and attempt to slag me off. I guess it's ironic how the kids doing the 'hating' are people I've never spoken to before, nor actually know me. I honestly have no time for judgemental children.
QUICK UPDATE:
I've had the alias of 'Kari Rose' for 3 years now and it's still hilarious that people act like it's new. I walk down the street and I'm guarenteed to pass a bunch of teeny bopper children who will shout my online alias after me. We live in a generation where people now refer to each other by their Bebo sign in names. It's not good guys.

I'm training currently to be a piercer, so in my book more metal is required
do you get people asking you "why not get a normal tongue piercing? no one can see it." Because since I got it done, that's all I've ever got.
I do a lot of my friends rather than my own, I'm just not very good with self aim, and I'd probably end up gouging my eye out. Not nice.
I currently have 10mm x 2, (10 lobe piercings all together) one tragus, an industrial, conch, and a tongue web
