Eilidh Bailey20 settimane faoh, had more than enough of ironing!! mums a carer as well as a nurse, so she brings home their clothes for washing. just spent 2 hours ironing...and she came in and gave me more to do
and i've STILL to clean the bathrooms, finish my room (looks like a bombsite, i swear to god!) and clean out the car (coz mum keeps making a mess in it, grr!)
how are you anyway?
xx -
Angus Munro20 settimane fathey can be god's children on the pavement then
-
Eilidh May Dobson20 settimane faExplicitly!
-
Eilidh May Dobson20 settimane faAh. Well done you!
Question: what is the purpose of the numbers on the cars' bonnets? In horse competitions, too, we tie numbers to their faces, but to my mind the difference lies in the improbability of a car taking itself for a late night drive and being found, sans ID, eating the hay belonging to the car stabled seven doors down. And even if it were for identification, surely the cleverly designed seven symbol code about a foot lower down would do the trick, unless it was likely you would need to be identified from above? -
Claire Anderson20 settimane fahey david just wondering if you want to come round tomorow evening for a piano lesson

Eilidh May Dobson20 settimane faNot such a car expert now, are we...?
They had a race, but all Red wanted to do was to stuff his face. He ate everything in sight, from trucks to prickly trees, but good old Blue, he took the Milky Way.
This all happened in 1989 (I'm told; I was not there to witness it.)

54.36 seconds? Dare I ask..? -
Eilidh May Dobson25 settimane faAnd were you to explain that the car was the second-ever Ford Capri RS3100, I would be compelled to look THAT up so as to pretend I am well informed on such matters, and conclude that it is really quite cool but in a pimpish sort of way.
But of course you didn't, so Brownie Points can remain untouched on both sides. Yay! -
Eilidh May Dobson25 settimane faTransport by car in an Irn Bru advert? I guess that year the budget didn't cover bringing in the flying snowmen...
Okay, cool by extraction. But you can't make up those lost Brownie Points now, oh no Siree!
Must scour the internet for this article...

Claire Anderson27 settimane fahey David
Some family thing has come up on Friday and this week has turned out to be quite busy. So is it ok with you if we leave the lesson until next week? I'll do some extra theory

Miriam Mackay-Tarn28 settimane faThat does'nt sound very big!!!! In reply to: "A lucky, lucky man in a 2009 Mitsubishi Colt" by David Finlay
-
Eilidh May Dobson29 settimane faTruly beautiful acceptance speech there, David. 'Svelte dictions in a florid hand'...
Agreeable laptop plays video agreeably. Must admit to having to look up exactly what a "1981 Mitsubishi Colt" is, but that extended the punch line rather than detracted from it, I would say. Very good.

Eilidh May Dobson29 settimane faGold Star and Three Brownie Points for the presentation of cool fact!
Had forgotten about "Some People Have it Worse Than Me"...Hitler's mother, architects of WTC etc - that is a good one. The concept of busking on the Gaza Strip I rather like too, though I can't recall where it pops up. Not familiar with "Mitsubishi Colt", must find it next time I'm on a computer that can cope with video.
Funny, I knew Armstrong and Miller were a parody but never thought to look up the inspiration... :b -
Eilidh May Dobson29 settimane faOh yes, Minchin of "Inflatable You" fame.
Lehrer is indeed a god.
Rather fond of these guys at the moment, although I don't think quite on a par with the other two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spKqw... -
Eilidh May Dobson29 settimane faBrilliant - thanks very much!
Music is at the hotel reception. -
Eilidh May Dobson30 settimane faAh, yes, Clare kindly asked for me. :p
Sorry - I meant to get in touch earlier; completely lost track of time, thought it was next week, etc, etc, more excuses etc.
So yes...can you let me know if you're able to? Also (if you can, that is) how I can get the music to you?
Cheers
