Swoopy Roo News 16th-18th May
Another fabulous weekend!
After a slow start on Friday, with a couple of lifts, and a miserable outlook on Saturday morning, the cloud base lifted, and much fun was had by all. The 5 tandems were promptly dispatched, and we did 13 lifts in total.
Saturday started with the sun splitting the sky, and full advantage was taken, with 20 lifts done, including 10 first-timers (2 of whom are now 1 DP away from freefall!), 7 tandems (including our Tandem Queen's 37th!), and beer fines for...

BCPA Scots... COMING UP
the BCPA Scots cometition is coming up soon at our very own strathallan. A minibus will be leaving from strathclyde union on friday 23rd to ferry people up to the event. it runs over the bank holiday weekend and is anticipated by universities all over the country.
anyone who wishes to attend should contact strath_parachuting@yahoo.co.uk and reserve yourself a place.

Dinky Doo News 9th-11th May
Another great weekend is over and unfortunately we have returned to the reality which is full time employment. Or, if you are students at a University, then you are still on weekend times.
Saturday was, with the exception of a few hours' rain, excellent, and ideal weather for our tandem queen to lie out on the sun lounger. All the tandems were jumped by lunchtime leaving the 3 planes for us members to play in.
Our sleep walking Greg McEntee got his CAT 8 so that including Lisa’s beer equates to lots of drinking. Well done Greg now you can have some real fun.
Saturday evening went as planned with the shopping trolley bbq to celebrate Davina Hart’s birthday. Everything went down a treat including the alcoholic beverages. You know what I’m talking about Mr Bajak. Much fun was had with many people staying up and raving into the early hours of the morning.
Sunday was another cracking day for jumping with all the tandems getting jumped including the second wave of tandems that came in the afternoon. Susan did a superb job on manifest for the 2 days ensuring that we were all kept happy and informed, even though the pilot changes did make it rather difficult.
Congrats to Keith Lynch who got his First Freefall which means beer.
And yes David Hart got his CAT8 so more beer.

Strathsnow here, we our having our legendary pub golf on Wednesday the 12th of November at bar home on Albion street (merchant city). We are Tee-ing of at 8pm it would be awesome if your club would come and join us for free food cheap drinks and some inter strath club boat races.
