- "I like to bang things hard and fast!"
I have been playing drums for almost 26 years and in this time i have played in many bands playing many styles from Blues to thrash metal. I am 100% self taught on the drum kit although i did have lessons while playing for many years in the 1st St. Andrews Boys brigade pipe band Many thanks to Sandy & Mark Bain top guys and great drummers. I learned how to play a drum kit listening to Lars Ulrich and Neil Peart while air drumming along when ever and where ever as i never got my own kit until i was 15! so my only contact with real drums was the school drum kit and this is where my love of Premier drum kits comes from.
I Also own "The Attic Drum company" and i love investigating Poltergeist cases in my spare time

- Lars Ulrich, Neil Peart, Barriemore Barlow, Thomas Lang, Buddy Rich, Akira Jimbo, Tico Torres, Keith Moon, Animal, Cozy Powell, Dave Silveria, Nicko McBrain and many millions of other top drummers out there.
- The Attic Drum Company
- At the A.D.C we deal in all aspects of drum kit Restoration, Hire & Repair.
We can also offer you a custom Bass drum head or custom paint job even on your own drum kit so no need to spend £0000's on that spaun or dw kit! see pics for some of the past work we have done. - My Drums
- At the moment with the band i am using a 7pc custom Mapex m birch Pro with 2mm undersized shells in a stunning hand finished saphire forest fade with a Ltd Edition 14" x 5.5" seamless black panther snare. Toms and Bass drum are fitted with Remo Pinstripe heads. My snare is fitted with a Remo Ebony X Black head.
My pedals are, Tama Iron Cobra P900 double bass pedal, Premier 2000 hihat, Pdp 3 sided rack system. Although Stage size sometimes means i get to take out my vintage Premier APK as she is much smaller and i do enjoy playing her.
Other kits i own Include Premier, Yamaha, Pearl and Tama. - My Metal.
- I have used Paiste for the last 11 years and they are the best cymbals out there! the sound is amazing and will cut through anything. If you dont agree then next time we are playing bring me your cymbals and see if they can stand a beating from me! I doubt it.
At the moment, playing live i use my 20" Paiste Signature raw full ride prototype (there was only 3 of these ever made), 20" 2000 sound refections heavy ride, 20" blue label 2000 sound reflections heavy crash, 18" sound formula thin crash, (NEW) 18" meinl mb8 china, 18" dimentions full crash, 16" signature china type, 14" Brass tones crash, 14" signature full crash, 12" signature splash, 10" signature splash, 10" Alpha splash, 8" signature splash, 13" Sabian AAX studio hats, 14" 2000 sound reflections aux hats, 10" effects hats. - Videos

End of an era
Well they do say that all good things have to come to an end someday, and I’m sad to say that day is today.
I have decided to stand down as drummer for The Goodnights. This was not an easy decision to make as I have had 2 very happy years playing with the band and my decision to leave is 100% personal and was my choice and I know that the guys will carry on and keep on going at it and I want to wish them all the best for the future. On the drumming front I have Been asked to join the band "Millsyeck" and i have accepted the invitation. So i am looking forward to gigging again soon playing some balls out rock music!
Thank you to everyone for your support over the last two years and a huge thank you to, Ross, Dave, Paul and John. x

hey hamie man, i was wondering, since your experienced in recording, iv a boss micro br digi recorder, only one input, but, em, im gona get a set of cheap mics, but see, i cant plug all of them in to one input, and i know exactly what i need, a mixer, 6-8 tracks, but i cant afford to spend much and i also cant see why they'd be so dear, if its just a way of routing all cables into one input.. any idea of what to do? like its definetly a mixer i need isnt it? sorry about this man i just figured you'd be the man for this
