- I love my family and my friends and believe I have a good life despite being skint.I enjoy yapping to people or sometimes just listening.
I am a bit of a paranoid android, always aware of what can go pear shaped, so I am cautious in most things apart from love where I wear my heart on my sleeve, easy enough to change jackets eh!
I write a bit now and again and enjoy reading.I love travel and new places and enjoy taking photographs as you can see.
I am happiest when my kids are doing well, when their world is good so too is mine.
I have finally come to terms with being a grown up it has its moments like eating icecream for dinner just because or drinking beer at ten am while eating toast. I like knowing the friends I have made will remain that way and those I have misplaced will turn up one day. I like my life and those that are in it espescially my three wee grandkids who make my life a smiley happy place.

- I love all kinds of music but if I was on a desert Island and was only allowed three tracks with me it would be sitting on the dock of a bay, come up and see me make me smile and God is a dj....

- My kids mean the world to me as do my memories, I guess my family is the most important thing to me followed by my pirate, my pc and my books, couldn't live without my mobile though nor my wee camera.

- I enjoy a few wee vodies now and again or a girly night in with a lot of vodka and the wii, I like being out and about with my camera and I love going fishing not cause I fish but because I love the country.

granny got the kids again
Nikki is unwell and was rushed to hospital today with suspected menangitis, they now think its not that so we are waiting on blood results and x rays, she is pretty poorly though and mum here is worried sick, I have the girls and robbie has Baileybobs, hopefully we will know more in the morning.Just got Gracie to bed atnd tiegi is sound after I read her some stories. Poor Nina is crossing her legs so I better do a quick beach run, thankyou Nanin for giving up your friday night out to help your maw,you are a gem .....sometimes..1 Comment 17 days

Well folks just back from my wee jaunt to Pitlochry was a nice couple of days and some intensive tutorials but I enjoyed myself, especially learning how to take photos of waterfalls and stuff.
Would I do it again hell yes would I take the train hell no...breakdown on the line stuck in Pitlochry station with a station master who looks like he fell off of monty pythons truck,sorry if he is your brother,cousin,uncle, next removed third whatever but seriously I was waiting on the dead parrot falling from his shoulder.
Train was due to depart 4.23 train departed ten to bleeding seven, think metal seats ice bucket nae coffee, eleven grouchy passengers and me.Well they all got taxis eventually and I was left with you guessed monty pythons truck fall off man, was getting pretty scarey, but there was a lad on the other platform so we shouted over to one another and kept our tempers even, not like the other people who almost formed a lynch mob when scotrail said no we wont pay 70 quid for your taxis. I wouldn't get a taxi I am freaky with cars, yes it was freaky in the station but I didn't mind too much I was having a mid life adventure. Anyway home safe n sound now and had a good old time lived it up on 4 course gourmet cooking and f stops.................och neva mind was cool......... love ya loads...........thedickieburd.....

Well folks thats our wee Bailey going up to yorkill for his op today, poor wee soul has a hernia.Gran is minding the other two so watch out for lots of baby shots.Not sure if I will manage the through the night feeds,been a long time.I am however looking forward to this week because at the end of it I have a wee weeks holiday and am thinking of heading off for a couple of days.Maybe skye maybe stranraer old haunts anyway with my camera.Anyway its pissing down and I got to go to work.Hope this finds you all well.the dickieburd x2 Comments 36 days

Hi Sis, finally got my computer up and running, glad you had a good time. I was quite ill, thought I was for it but pulled through o.k., fine now. We are moved in but not organized at all, just having the kitchen redone the now, so no fridge or stove yet, living out of a cooler and with a bar-b-que, lol, oh well. Love the new house though the back garden is great, Sarah is loving running around.

Thank heavens she is ok! If her tonsils get that bad you would think they would take them out. Paige also isnt the best sleeper in the baby world, but one wee smile and you just suffer the tiredness. So glad that she is ok xxxx

thats good to hear shes got someone to help take care of her! but due on your b-day kinda sucks 3 days before mine lol happy bday to you!! im comming as soon as i can get over there! mums and i are planning to come for nicolas wedding ..hopefully i can get there sooner.have a real holiday this time haha.. im a little nervous about living on my own but im sure ill be able to manage. mum is officially getting married on friday .. no big thing we are just signing the leagal papres and then goin out for drinks after should be fun im sure u will see loads of pics i wil take some just for u

aww the wee ones keepin u busy! thats i will for sure check that out! did u love your corse? i looked at some of your new photos with Robbie and his girlfriend and some others awell they are fantastic! im sure ill be fine on my own its just a shitty thing to do it will all work out in the end i put a deposit on a little flat for just me so ill be ok...im work in 6 days a week now so im banking some money for that we will see how it goes. im feeling good now.. im still takin care of everything as best i can workin towards getting an insulin pump to make things a wee bit easier its been a stressful couple weeks but im managing! wow pregnant? is she with the guy? hope she is alright ur bday? well happy birthday to u! lol
