About us
Limerick Musical Society are active members of AIMS (the Association of Irish Musical Societies), and over the years have been fortunate to receive several awards in their national awards scheme. This completion is open to all musical societies throughout Ireland. Limerick Musical society have represented Limerick at the Waterford International Festival of light Opera and received a reception from the Mayor of Limerick in 2006.

Cork City Ballet56 settimane faHey!
Just letting you know, Cork City Ballet will be in the UL Concert Hall with their national tour of The Sleeping Beauty Suite and Divertissements on Sunday the 16th of November. Featuring guest artists from The Perm, Bolshoi, Kirov and The Royal Ballet...
An evening definately not to be missed!!

Legend has it that King Arthur and his knights did very little else but sit around their Round Table talking about finding the Holy Grail. Well, I suppose there wasn’t much to do in the Dark Ages. You couldn’t leave the house with worrying about catching the plague, being looted and pillaged, eaten by dragons or left swinging from a gibbet (whatever that was!).
But suppose it was different. Imagine a different Dark Ages, where the damsels were all fashion-conscious, the knights were all football jocks and King Arthur was, as far as his daughter was concerned, a medieval ATM machine. So let us whisk you back through the mists of time to an age when knights were bold and ladies were, like, omigod,
