Motörhead was formed in 1975, when bassist Lemmy (Ian Kilmister) was kicked out of Hawkind. The band was originally going to be called 'Bastard' but was changed to Motörhead, which was the name of the last song Lemmy recorded with Hawkwind. Motorheads first album 'On Parole' was recorded in 1976 with Larry Wallis, Philthy 'Animal' Taylor and Lucas Fox (who only drummed for Lost Johnny). Larry Wallis was soon to leave after this album and was replace by 'Fast' Eddie Clarke. Eddie, Lemmy and Philthy recorded 4 albums together (most famous being Ace of Spades) before Eddie was replaced by Brian Robertson who was then replaced by Phil Campbell and Wurzle. Philthy was eventually replaced by Pete Gill and then Mikkey Dee.
