Basement Jaxx started in Brixton, South London in 1994, where they held a regular club night called Rooty, which would later become the name of their second artist album.
In 1999, the group released their first full length album, Remedy, to wide acclaim. Remedy includes the "Red Alert", "Rendez Vu", "Jump N' Shout", and "Bingo Bango" singles. "Red Alert" was used in a Coca-Cola commercial.
Now In 2006..The albums relased are
Remedy,Rooty,Kiki Kash,The Singles and Crazy Itch Radio,Which have all benn Realsed By Atlantic Jaxx Recordings which is now a very Popular Record Label.

Basement Jaxx Second New Album Duo Go All Pink Floyd Basement Jaxx have recorded an album of "bath-time music". The dance duo say that as well as working on long-awaited new LP 'Scars', they have also recorded a second set of material which is radically different. Felix Buston revealed: "There's some Pink Floyd-y, more ambient-y stuff. That's going to come out as probably a mini LP afterwards. It's for bath-time music."............. They are definately incredibly intelligent people. Very clever dance music. Not a fan of their latest stuff but I grew up with Remedy, Rooty and Kish Kash.
