Tribute to my dad

I have now been in Auckland since the 28th of April. On the whole im really enjoying all the amazing opportunity from featuring in Dei Hamo's and Dane Rumbles new video releases (on TV very soon) to now collaborating on a track with Vince Harder its really all falling into place better than i had ever imagined.

Its a new experience for me having to be independent in this big cold city but it was time for me i have a lot of support from some really amazing musical artist whom i respect so much and i had no idea were rooting for me so hard (dont even.....you rude dude )

That's not to mention i have met some other people whom i wish i hadn't in these few short weeks but my mama gave me the advice to rise above that and move forward with out regret but there will always be really selfish, immature, heartless, introspective, self obsessed block bleeding, opportunistic people out there all you can do to counter that is not be one of them.... in their own time they will see their ways are ruining what they could be getting out of life and stunting their true potential so just learn when to say when enough is enough peace out.

If i can give some advice to any of you aspiring musicians out there hear this because Ive been in this entertainment industry for 18 years and now im only 23 but Ive learnt some hard lessons that you can cut the crap with:

1 You dont need to try put other people down to succeed just be the best YOU you can be and stay true to who you are

2 Its OK to talk about other artist when asked, it shows that you are insightful just be friendly, honest and genuine

3 Be genuine

4 Always beleive in yourself even if timberland doesn't like your work (im sure someone didn't like him at some stage)

5 Never give up and do everything it takes to achieve your dreams

6 Your the only person who can make change in your life and to who you are (find your true purpose)

7 If your ready let god help you it will make things much easier there is a calling for you if you choose to accept it.

8 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be original (this industry already has one T-Pain it doesnt need 36 more just because you use a different brand of auto tune doesnt make you original and i promise you that is a fad that will go out of fasion just like flares, tear aways, scuffs, trucker hats and the bum bag did)

9 Treasure the support of real friends around you not just the ones who want you for opportunity to catch your over flow (errrrr)

10 Live the experience be present in the moment and stop to smell the roses

11 Don't do it just for the fame!! that's the lamest shameful thing i ever heard one guy tell me he was in the industry for and i nearly threw up on his midi controller (what a penis)

12 Dream big and take action immediatly, surround your self with successful people you want ot be like

13 Be as healthy as you can cos its a fast life.
