23-year-old producer Gaz West a.k.a Dark By Design, has quickly emerged as one of the UK’s most talked about and in demand talents on the Hard Trance and Hard Dance scene.

There are not many artists that can boast launching their DJ career at such clubs as Goodgreef - the former Mixmag ‘Club of the year’, and, the UK’s leading brand, based in Manchester; in addition to a much envied debut at the 7,000 capacity HQXL, at the Docklands, in Amsterdam.

And after such an incredible positive response, Gaz has decided to really concentrate on his DJ showcases and is set to perform around the Globe, supporting and displaying his very own unique sound.

Dark By Design is not just a DJ set but actually a ‘showcase’. It is, in fact, an almost pre-live set that has been delicately prepared that exhibits exclusive remixes, re-edits and new tracks - never to be released - full of effects to blow away any crowd!

His sets are a fusion of European and UK Hard Trance and Hard Dance, often continuing for over 1 hour at a time– truly an experience, and, definitely not to be missed.

Dark By Design will only be performing at a selection of the finest clubs/events in the UK in 2005. Already confirmed is the sell-out Tidy Weekender 7, in Prestatyn, North Wales, Goodgreef Tall Trees (the UK’s Biggest Club) & Goodgreef Manchester will also have the privilege of hosting him, as well as Wales’ super-clubs Bionic and Escape, and, the South-West’s super-clubs Tranzactions and Dance Academy. Not to mention Scotland’s Inside Out, and Wildchild and Frantic at the infamous Brixton Academy in London.

Overseas DbD will rock for UDC’s main events such as Dance Valley and regular HQ nights in Amsterdam, not forgetting his 8-date tour of Australia and New Zealand, plus more proposed gigs in Germany.

Not bad going for a 23 year old who has only been DJing for just under a year!
