Basically it doesn't so I'm not really gonna be around here much.

Everything wrong with this western society has religion to blame.
Whe're all human. Very human. Nearly every single one of us, is %100 human and that means we're all fundamentally pretty much the same too.
Evolution is slow. Man hasn't changed much. We can still live out there without penicillin. In the wild, hunting and gathering. And I'm starting to wonder if our design is anything less than functional. I mean. We look pretty wierd, but ask me about any feature and I can probably think of a pretty good use for it.
So humans work. Just fine. There's nothing inherantly wrong with us.
Consider: Have you ever tried just letting go of everything you've learned from your parents about social relations and what you can and can't? Being human, doing whatever you feel like doing without thinking about what others will think[you'd probably find that pretty fucken difficult actually], for long enough to develop your own morality?
It's really hard, if you have, you'd have quickly found it's not allowed.
Your freinds, family, and sometimes complete strangers, will look at you funny and tell you in a roundabout way to get the hell back in line.
We have standards in this society. These are often totally unnatural and for some people[queers, nudists, to name some of the obvious ones] they get in the way. We try to rationalises these, but keep in mind, anyone can rationalise anything. Including me? Actually, I'm just giving you facts and hoping you form the right conclusion. Anyway. One of the ways we rationalise these unnatural rules passed between men like a virus is by arguing "We live in an unatural world. If we lived in caves we could let go, but we don't, so, we need unatuaral rules to protect us. Fair enough right? Except it's a lie. We don't need to live in an unatural world. Tools are tools, we have always had them, stories, knowledge, techniques, medicine, old news, we invented all that 1000s of years ago. They are all we need to live in a modern world[unless you wrongly include Western culture, and I hope you don't], so there is no reason the modern world should be "unnatural." We built this world, we continue to rebuild and adapt it to the truths we discover. But we do not build it to serve man. Ony his older, more refined brother.
Man doesn't live here. Man has been beaten into submission by an inherrant cowardice. People die, and go to jail when they try to let out the man, who has never been out before.

There's a lot I wish I could mention as evidence, but it's taboo. You would be disgusted, biased for being an integral part of the problem.
And I'm angry to tears for that fact. This place is one big alergic reaction to our own fucking DNA! I'll be back on Monday, internalised, introverted, as polite and restrained as I can be without fucking puking and evetually, these feelings will fade away, and you'll be left with the husk that the man leaves standing while he sleeps.


In case you lost how this was about religion- Christianity has a lot of verses saying we're inherantly sinful. And western culture is based on Christianity.

I mention Man a lot. To me "Man" means an effective, moral, person of integrity. I'd love if I could include women in the deffinition of Man, but gender role crossing is tabooed.

I know we'll continue to work our way towards the light, but I'm emo' about this and I want there to be a record of it to see if I might be able to bring it back in the future when it's prudent.

If there's one god. Then there must be more gods "up" there. Nothing ever happens once and ever again. But there might be no god.

I'm almost done with the program. Just one more bug LOL. Like that's possible. I cut so many corners it's disgusting and I never learn my lesson. It's almost as if I want to make bugs just so I can get the EXP of squashing them. But anyway, the features are all in there, operational, if limited and insecure.
And the end product will be pretty useless to everyone, but the code can go towards my next adaptation of the logo generation system [It makes icons out of numbers ^^] which will automaticly overlay..... I just realized something... I could use this with no adaptation in Ubuntu because Ubuntu uses SVGs for icons[The output is SVG] so instead of learning about the ICO format I can do it plain and simple in Ubuntu.... Forget it... It's not worth thinking ahead. Whatever I want to do, I'll do.

Crouched over the navigation table in his tiny cabin, the exhausted sailor plunges the scalpel into his arm.

He cuts fast and deep, just as the doctor instructed.

Pus and blood spurt everywhere and he gasps at how far the infection has spread.

The boat heaves, shoving him against the side. Above, the wind shrieks through the sails. For a second, he worries as much about his yacht's chances of survival as his own.

Focus, he thinks to himself. Focus.

He pulls a 4-inch stick of gauze from his medical kit and pushes it hard into the wound.

The pain would make most people scream or pass out.

But no one will hear Viktor Yazykov if he screams. And if he passes out, he knows he will probably die.

Alone in the middle of the South Atlantic, the 50-year old Russian is 1000-miles from shore. His autopilot is broken, he has lost power, and his only light is a miner's lamp strapped to his forehead.

He has been at sea for 40 days, on the first leg of a grueling 27,000 mile solo sailboat race around the world that began in Charleston, S.C., in September and will take competitors to Africa, New Zealand, around the treacherous Cape Horn to South America and then back to Charleston.

The eight-month odyssey is called Around Alone. In the churning ocean darkness, Viktor Yazykov has never felt so alone.

He has tried to follow the 14-step surgical procedure the doctor from Boston e-mailed him hours earlier. But he can't stop the bleeding, and he's afraid he is losing his arm.

Slumped against the bulkhead, he sips some wine. The waves are banging so hard against the thin carbon fiber hull, it feels like they are sloshing around in his brain.

With his good arm, Yazykov reaches for his laptop.

"Have been sitting on the bloody cabin floor almost completely naked all covered with blood with right arm lashed up and watching as my life blood drop by drop leaving me," he types.

Who will find me here, he wonders, as he closes his eyes. Who will see this terrible mess?

Hurtling downwind into the dark, Yazykov's yacht would set a record that November night, covering a total of 239 miles in 24 hours.

Thousands of miles away, in the heart of Boston, Dr.Dan Carlin had spent the day in his cozy, crimson colored office at the New England Medical center. A 39-year old former ship's medical officer, he runs a practice called WorldClinic that provides emergency care, through computer technology, to people around the globe.
