- Music
- All sorts but in particular Scottish and Gaelic music. Also a bit 0f classical, and 'mainstream' stuff. Just not heavy metal or repetive dance music that goes nowhere.
- Films
- Tends to be boring romantic/comical things.... not very good with anything gory/lots of chopping bodies etc.
- Sports
- Still doing lots of walking to uni and back and determined to get to the pool a few times this year.
- Scared Of
- Thunder and lightning. I have almost conquered my fear of lifts!!! Apart from the ones in the library which clunk....
- Happiest When
- At the M0d 0r the Pan Celtic especially when we w0n this year!
- Favourite Drink
- G and T or vodka and lemonade. Oh tea of course. But tequila...Urgh I cant even think about that one without wanting to throw up again. MALIBU AND ORANGE!!!

BEBO!!
Bebo's taking over!!
1. You are at a bar or club and you suddenly realize you recognize someone. You can't figure out how and then it dawns on you... You have never met this person before, but have spent a considerable amount of time looking at their bebo.
2. After meeting someone your conversation somehow leads to - "So, are you on bebo?" like we do this to nearly everyone we talk to!
3. You do not call people anymore, you post comments and send messages through bebo
4. When you're out with friends and you take a good picture you exclaim loudly, "That's going on bebo!"
5. Conversations with friends tend to lead to, "Did you read that bulletin/comment/ or see that new picture 'xxx' left?"
6. You check your bebo as soon as you wake up, and right before you go to bed, including the 10 times you check it during the day.
7. You start off intending to check if you have new messages/comments but find AN HOUR LATER that you are still on and have no idea what you even accomplished during that time except stalk. we are totally guilty of this!
8. You find yourself laughing (sadly) and agreeing as you read these, and you know you're going to repost this for everyone else to see!

Mod
Melvich had a really successful year with Philip Todd and Celia MacDougal both winning their solo competitions, the choir winning the Lorna and puirt and me, Sarah and other Shona all getting Gold Cards. Well done also to CAT and Taynuilt on their wins too.1 Comment 400 days

Second year
I cant believe i am starting second year, where has the last year gone?! In fact its more than started, its getting to seious work time already! I am still doing the same subjects as last year, Gelic, History and Celtic Civ. This time I am doing the first year Celtic civ (having done 2nd year last year) which is easy enough. History is European stuff again and for the tutorials I am doing Samuel Pepys diary and a seminar paper on his reaction to the great Fire of London - fun stuff! Gaelic is just about impossible as I am in the fluent class and don't have a clue whats going on half the time! Ah well Karen's in the same boat so we can be lost together (we are ALWAYS lost hehe). My new flat is great, its just me and Kim this year which means peace and quiet after Murano street. It's not a student flat at all but a nice modern one (apart from the odd lingering stale smoke smell but we are dealing with that!) with loads of room and a big kitchen and living room compared to every one elses flats. Well the studying is calling so I had better answer...0 Comments 413 days

Christine Stone18 weeks agoBaby Craw.... how are you? I'm on holiday in the lovely Isle-of-Lewis. 'T is grandyo. Great to be on holiday and reading books that have lain, dust-covered for the last six months just waiting patiently.
Hope you're enjoying Auckengill? Is that it ~ maybe Ackergill... don't really know sorry! No falling off chairs anyway... that's my speciality! xx

Hope you enjoyed the Feis and can make that fiddle sing now !
I had to stay an extra day on Tiree but enjoyed catching up with folk I hadn't seen for a while.

We've been busy as always and doing a fair bit of singing.
Won't be long now till the Mod season.
Are you doing Mull or Lochgilphead ?
Our oldest son Euan (the one who sings with the Tuircs) got engaged a few weeks ago. Delighted !
Say hello from me to a couple of the organisers, Joyce and Liz, when you go over to the Tiree feis. Remember to take your surfboard !

Only just over it because I have started planning next year's
It was particularly enjoyable this year, though. That always makes it worse when you come back. -
