    • Believe me or kiss my sharries, O My Brothers

      Wow, my first blog entry. Seeing as I have a notebook journal in my room to write my unspeakable thoughts and feelings, I shall use this blog sporadically for rants and random thoughts when I am bored, just like right now.

      Well, I recently finished "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess and love it. While the story itself is great, the linguistic adventure is astounding. I love the author's tone and invented slang that you must decipher as you read along. I watched Stanley Kubrick's film based on this novella afterwards and found that, as is usually the case, the movie pales in comparison. It's quite a unique film though.

      I am trying to discover new bands but cannot find any CD's of a band I want to check out! Damn you, CD Plus for succumbing to popular demand for all this pop crap that corporations feed to the impressionable youth everyday. All I want is a Testament album. Haha, it's kinda funny. I was a little peeved at being labeled a metal-head in high school because of my performances of Metallica songs, yet here I am, expanding my CD collection with Megadeth, Iron Maiden and the like. Oh well. I am what I am.
