    • Statue of life

      I see in front of me,
      a statue of life:

      The soles of its feet
      exposed crust grinding against
      one another in a hypocentre
      of mortal lava, sluggish sneaking droughts,
      enclosed by ice sheets.

      The muscular legs of the giant arches
      orogenesis of mountains,
      and rock-hard potency of continents
      with mesas and islands,
      stepping with time, dissolving hectares.

      The waist bumpy and concrete,
      with ergs in the hammada.
      Deserts concealed and caves bare,
      by fires eroding away beneath a skin covered
      vicious acidic storm.

      The torso colossal and overconfident,
      with whirlpools of temperament on guard,
      filled with hurricanes, tornadoes,
      echoing waves of heat
      and rhythmic seasons of motion.

      The commanding arms stretching
      spectacular trails of warmth and ice.
      Embankment of scars and defence,
      for the unconditional hugs
      of death in our gestures for help.

      The hands open deltas,
      waterfalls nourishing mudslides,
      leaching throughout rainforests and ploughing
      within swamps for fossils while flinging hail,
      fingers directing to solar eclipses.

      The vulnerable open genitals
      protected by feelings and emotions,
      exploiting of nativity and hybridisation
      of completeness and meaning
      survival with harmonic endangerment.

      The breasts provide for weathers,
      of overflow and precipitation, with a caring softness
      for catching the tide of rituals,
      and admiration of love
      an escape from breeding in growth.

      The consuming mouth growls,
      with swarms of teeth, gashing and grinding
      essentials like vultures of disgust,
      acquiring winds of milk and stars
      and breathing at the bitter fires of the oceans.

      The amplified ears of resonance,
      and movement, shattering through
      space as a pulse echo guiding
      through silent caves seeking
      in all directions of lookout.

      The nose inhaling desert sands
      in method respiring
      passionate heavens for perfumes,
      and pheromones in shadowy forests and gutters.
      A serene beauty and meditative consciousness.


      The eyes watching back and admiring:
      mirrors, arrangements and monuments’
      a eager escape for knowledge
      in a unidentified wilderness,
      in the midst of thoughts black and white specks.

      Entirely defined and weather-beaten
      appearance of being, sculptured by,
      the hands of time and the
      emptiness of belief and emotions,
      brings into view this statue of life.

    • Party on the 19th of September

      I am sad to confirm to you all that my time in Ireland has come to an end.
      My bags are packed and I am leaving before the end of September back to South Africa.
      I would like to thank all of you for helping and supporting me through the last 3 years.
      Lots of things have been tried and sure it never was easy.
      I am having a leaving party on the 19th of September to any of you that would like to stop by.
      I might continue blue2black in S.A.

      On the 11th of August Blue2black bands will participate in the making of a short Film.

      Nine tormented people in their search for escape from the realities they have constructed seek refuge through music and intoxication in an alternative, underground nightclub, but do they find personal nirvana.

      Come and show your support that voice our freedom to express by coming to be an extra from 3pm till late on the 11th of August till the 13th of August.
