Great things happened to me this week =]. Thought I’d like to share it with you ^^

First of all I had 3 tests this week- Science, Social Studies and Maths.

Since Church camp I have actually started on doing my devotions

First Test: Science. (Resitting a test)

As I was meant to go over the previous test on Wednesday lunchtime with my teacher, Ms Davidson so that I understood what I did wrong. Even though I had a reminder on my phone. I realized I was meant to go and see her when the bell went (meaning lunch was over). I was expecting to get a big yell-at the next time I saw her since I was meant to see her the week before.

Next day my friend (Elianna) said “The test’s on today!” I started freaking out, realizing that I should have studied the night before. (I had been doing my devotions that night). At lunch I prayed hoping that a miracle would happen as me and Elianna walked over to the science classroom and went in the door. The words I heard were “No science test this week, I’m too busy. I’ve postponed it till next week.”

I walked up to Ms Davidson and said “Ms Davidson I—“
“Gabriella!! I am SO terribly sorry about yesterday!” I was standing there clueless, then she continued “I had no idea that 2 exchange students would be waiting for me to show them around the school! And I didn’t know how to tell you as I wasn’t in my office the whole day!” I stood there processing her words and finally said “Ohhh its fine!” Then me arranged to meet next Tuesday. Anyone can ask Elianna, I was just saying “Thank you God” over and over again hahaha.

Second Test: Maths. (Friday)

I was doing my devotions the night before this and I wasn’t even sure if the test was the next day.

I walked into the math class, saw that the tables were all separated and of course knew there was going to be a test. I sat down, did the test. After finishing the test I checked the sheet for any mistakes over 10 times (at least 10 times). And I memorized the answer for the question “6b” had the answer “3”. After handing in my test I asked Pheobe (the girl sitting next to me)
“Hey, what did you get for 6b?” then she said
“-3”
I started panicking because if I did write “3” as my answer. I would have gotten another question wrong which asked to put it into an equation. The teacher then suggested that the class marked each other’s test. Katrina has my test and while we were marking it, I asked her what I had written for “6b”.
“You wrote –3” she replied back. I was speechless to how that happened, as I had checked my test 10 times and swore to myself I had written 3. By just that mark I would have gotten merit. But I got excellence.

Third Test: Social Studies. (Friday also)

I didn’t think I would need to study for this test as I wont be getting a career to do with this subject. We sat down and started the test. For most of the period I spent doing the first question. We had 15 minutes left so I quickly did the second page and was on my last.

The bell went and people were handing in their papers. A few (including me) were quickly writing out our last sentences when the teacher announced, “Hand in your papers girls. I’ll give you time to complete these next period or in a lunchtime”. For me that was the most weirdest thing I had ever heard. A teacher letting us finish a test on another day. (Therefore meaning that we can go through our notes and re-study so that we can re-write all our answers if they were wrong. Or even just study the bits that are in the test.) I handed my paper in with no question.

I don’t know what you think of these events that have happened to me this week. I believe that God has helped me
