- New Zealand's premier metal band 8-Foot Sativa have risen from the Wild West of Auckland becoming a household name and creating metal history in New Zealand. The huge success of their three albums, national tours, break- through chart positions and exposure in the main stream media has never before been seen in this country by a Heavy Metal band.
They have had an amazing amount of Television exposure with multiple screenings of their videos and an array of interviews and features on NZ Television shows. The band has received more TV exposure than most of NZ's mainstream pop acts.
8 Foot Sativa have played with many profile bands including Metallica, Pantera, Soulfly, Korn, Slipknot, System of a Down, Children of Bodem, Disturbed, Motorhead and Corrosion of Conformity.
