Just thought I would post a blog about the hidden truths of the X Factor Audition process.

So, the audition letter said ' Be at the Millenium Stadium at 8:00am for your audition" so i woke up at 3:00 and left for Cardiff at 4:00.

I arrived at 6:20 and already there were thousands of people in front of me.

8:00 arrives and are any people going in for auditions???? NO, the crew decide that 8:00 is when they want to start filming.

So, 9:00 arrives and still no-one is being auditioned. 9:10 and Dermot shows up which means the crowd can do the 'silent cheering' and pretending that is is the summer when in fact everyone was freezing cold and shivering. I thought it couldn't get any more fake than that and then........ the team start to hand out posters saying 'Cardiff loves louis' and 'I've got the Welsh factor' so all of the posters you see on the TV are actually made by the production team to make it look like people are enjoying themselves.

35 mins later the warm up man tells us we will be going inside at around 10:30 so that meant we could do more fake cheering for the camera shouting "Cardiff's got the X Factor"and clapping along to the X Factor theme song which they seemed to put on a loop.

10:30 comes and STILL no-one is moving. The stupid warm-up man just kept on saying that
we will be going in after one more song. The song then finishes and he announces that they want to do more filming.

10:40 comes and they tell us there will be a countdown for when we go in and there was. At last, after over 4 hours of waiting we were finally on the move. We all had to walk past the camera making an X sign with our arms but I couldn't be bothered by that time so i just waved.

So we all pile inside of the Millenium Stadium YAY but, not without 40 more minutes of filming fake happiness and shouting " Cardiff's got the X Factor'" and the new thing they told us to shout "Cardiff's got the Xtra Factor". After all of that rubbish we had to pass the huge X Factor flag along the crowd which took ages because some people couldn't understand warm-up guy when he said 'pass the flag back to where it started'

After 20 minutes of playing pass the flag, they decided to set up the little audition booths at the front of the stadium. Basically what they were, were plastic sheets tied to poles to form a booth.

So now the booths were up, it was time to LET THE AUDITIONS COMMENCE.

There were one of three answers you could get, Yes (Given to 5% of good singers 20% to the idiots), Pod ( Sticker for a 2nd chance audition) and the most favoured No (given to people who could could sing but wouldn't make good TV)

At 2:00 I was seen and told "on this occasion its a no" by the judge who obviously didn't like that fact that I didn't have a sob story about being bullied at school then almost killing myself and I am now getting back at my bullies by singing at them (none of this sob story is true by the way).

So all in all it was a big waste of a day, that was 11 hours well wasted.

So that was the truth about The X Factor auditions.
