A question I ask myself everyday...

What the hell is great about life?

You see one person smiling, arm in arm with her lover, she's let her hair down and she's carefree and happy.
You see another person, a transvestite, getting stared at and ricduled.

What a contradiction life is, When people say 'I admire people who dare to be different', Thats what makes them happy, and all the others who have so much shit in their lives think it's okay to drag down their feeling of a high.

Every single person shares the same dream, To fall in love, remain in love and grow old, have a family, to be rich and estaticially happy.

In the real world, we struggle to barely get by, we have days where we feel like ending it, we have days where we're on a constant high. More and more people are getting divored, babies are getting abandoned, some people think life is too much and take drugs or drink alcohol to numb the constant pain they go through.

I should know the difference...

The days I have my hair down, I run around freely and have a laugh with my mates, I forget my constant burden for a simple few hours and I am seen for the girl I really am, A happy, jokey, clumsy average sixteen year old.

The days I have my hair up, I get constant whispers and pointing 'Oh.. it's that deaf girl', its enough to send you crazy, people dodge you, think your incapable of communicating and send you looks like they feel sorry for you.

Well guys. Get a pen and paper cause' you're in for a shock.

We can talk.. We can share a joke.. So much for fitting in, if us deaf people want to fit in, We have to let our hair down, and continue life as everyone would normally do so, Then the only way you'd find out is if I tie up my hair or let you in on my burden. A burden that is created by ignorant bitches, Fake ass people who think they know all the shit in this world, And people whose lives are so perfect they look down on us 'poor kids'. Well Fuck you all. Cause' I'm deaf, proud and you guys should fucking get over it.

We're the ones looking down on you and going 'Ohhh you poor kid, you don't fucking know it do you? The worlds not as perfect as you think it is honey, You'll find out sooner or later.' Instead of giving us shit, get back to your own fucking miserable lives and take a look at yourself.
