Córdoba (AND FINAL BLOG :O:O:O)
WELL
i ddnt reali knw nefn at all bwt cordoba b4 we arrived, bt da main tourist site thingy der is a big ol' christian/moorish type cathedral fng called da Mezquita. our hotel was riiiight nxt 2 it nd we had da best view eva from our rooms window; lookd right out at da mezquita.
by da time we gt 2 cordoba tho id gtn a nasty cold (still gt it aaargh bt hey.. its a spanish cold ) nd ddnt reeeali feel lyk doin much. found our way in2 da city center on a grey grey day bt all we reali did dat 1st day was finish buying souveneers 4 pple. next day went nd saaw da mezquita, its huuge bt doesnt reali look lyk a catedral, der r these big patternd arches eeeeverywea, wich is preti much wat its famous 4.
aaaand dats preti much it. da rest of my memory of da place is preti much shrouded by dis cold lol nd i am gettn sooooooo tiiiired of writing these fngs!
well am bak in madrid now 2 catch da plane 2moro morning.
will b bak in nz around 6.30 am saturday morning

well ddnt reali hav high hopes 4 seville, dnt knw y, jst.. ddnt lol bt den wen da bus startd driving thru da place it was lyk its preti much da most gawjus place in spain, its da kind of place dat u fnk of wen u fnk of spain... lyk walking thru narrow streets undaneath castle arches coverd in vines, a several-100s year old stone fountain up agenst 1 wall on old old cobbled stones nd agenst da otha wall sits a busker wit his guitar playing flamenco songs dat my dad used 2 play wen he had da time 2 play da guitar, orange trees peeking jst around da corner overlookd by windowsills overflowing wit flowers, go through a lil tunnel nd u come out in2 da plaza/courtyard of da old moorish palace.... now DAT was a kol lil discovery made wen walking around randomly da otha day . needless 2 say i gav dat busker alota money haha i was jst lyk dis is da kolest atmosphere....
neway our hotel was in da old jewish quarter, so more narrow streets nd white houses nd lots cafes in our area wich was handy.. went nd saw a flamenco show da 1st night we wer der. da taxi driver hu took us der drove da wrong way up a 1 way street so we hadta pay more garrr bt gt der in da end. afta coughing up a decent amount of money (:S) we gt preti gud seats wit a gud view of da stage nd included was a 3 course meal plus dessert yikes haha. it was gud food bt wen da show startd i cudnt reali eat much of it coz my eyes wer jst glued 2 da stage, i cant reali describe it bt it was preti awesum, wer quite a few dancers hu came on at diffrent times, half wer boys nd da otha half girls, tbh i hadnt even realisd dat guys cud do flamenco dancing reali lol bt dey wer preti amazing! den afta da show gt conned agen by a taxi driver, he took us da back way 2 our hotel bt u knw hw da streets r reali narrow nd 1 way 1s, well up ahead a truck had managd 2 get itself stuck in a street nd so we cudnt get by... nd in europe unlike da states da taxis charge by time nd nt distance so we gt out of dat taxi coz it wasnt goin newea netime soon lol. hadta walk da rest of da way nd ddnt even knw wea we wer reali lol wer lyk.. hmmmm dis street looks slightly less dark nd empty nd seedy as dat 1.. kind of... haha scary stuff.
nxt day did da tourist fng, explored dat moorish palace properly (wich was lyk da alhambra bt smaller nd i rekon da seville 1 was prettier) nd took a tour of a bullring, nd was gna look round dis amazing cathedral bt it was jst shut on sunday nyawwww. da outside of it was preti spectacular tho, was HUGE (bigger den da notredame tho da notredame is still my fav cathedral ) nd kinda lookd a bit lyk da castle off beauty nd da beast (hehehe ) kinda sorta neway.

!!Cádiz!!
well cádiz reali deserves a description so u guys can get da feEeEl of it ya knw.... its on dis circular bit of land dats on da end of a strip of coast dat juts out of spain, nd is da oldest continuosly inhabited city in da western world or sumfn so witout very much room 2 grow dat buildings r tall nd da streets r very very very narrow nd old- cars cant drive through it, nly around da edges wich was reali kol..... bt neway afta finally findn our hotel (always abit of a mission :S) we didnt actually do a whole lot while we wer there... went 2 like a market type thing in da streets wich was kol, all da shopkeepers yelling rrrrrrebajas!!!! (word 4 sale- learnt dat 1 very quickly haha). was sooooo gutting dat we missd der carnaval wen dey all dress up in fancydress nd get drunk nd sing in da streets.... tried 2 get a room 4 da saturday it startd bt da entire city was completely bookd!!!! so yea. climbed 2 da top of da catedral bell tower wich was kol, except climbd down veeery quickly coz i ddnt wana b up der wen it rang haha sucha chicken .
da whole place lookd reali kol at night coz dey wer preparing da place 4 carnaval, der wer lights nd pple everywea!
bt neway cádiz was awhile ago nw nd cant rememba a whole lot more...... bt it was a reali interestn place neway, g2g get bak der sum time 4 dat carnaval... jst gta!! new life goal
