About Me

Me, Myself, and I
My Chemical Romance recently blasted onto the commercial music scene with the release of "The Black Parade". From this MCR have gained thousands of new fans.

MCR started when Gerard Way (Lead Vocals) saw the devastating attack of 9/11. From this, he decided to do something with his life. Him and his brother, Mikey Way (Bassist), created the band, shortly after, Ray Toro (Guitar) joined the band following a phone call from Gerard. MCR saw other guitarist Frank Iero, go free from his previous band. MCR had seen how good he was, and quickly snapped him up, to join the band. Frank them became the 2nd guitarist of the band.

The name "My Chemical Romance" dereives from an Irvine Welsh novel's footnotes "Ten Rules of Chemical Romance" Mikey saw this in the novel, asked Gerard if he liked the idea of putting a "My" before "Chemical Roamance" thus creating "My Chemical Romance"
