Still technically a girl-geek but recently been made unemployed by quitting my job to go live in Perth, Australia with my man. Not quite left Scotland yet but any day now...
Sad to be going but if i don't try i'll never know. If anybody knows of any available IT work in Perth, let me know!! :-)

OK, in no particular order i listen to the following or more. The ipod has a strange idea of what song should follow the next or maybe its just my collection is pretty random at times!

Sports
Used to do athletics but grew out of that! Sometimes badminton (speedminton raquets work well with shuttlecock but speedminton proper doesnt work with a high net) rollerblading (sooo out of practice!) tried snowboarding and surfing - both involve more muscles than i own but willing to torture myself again at these! tried rowing but the other people spoiled it.

Tacky american pulp fantasy horror, James Patterson, Nelson DeMille, Richard Laymon, Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, Douglas Coupland, Maxx Barry, Caitlin Kiernan and anything else thats good reading or just enjoyable reading.

Bones, 24, Prison Break, Greys Anatomy, House, ER, Nip/Tuck, Lost, Dexter, Smith (shame it was cancelled), Eureka, Ugly Betty, Skins, Burn Notice, The Tudors, Moonlight, Greek, Private Practice, Spooks, Fringe, Dollhouse, etc...

    • Cleaning Vs Assignments

      Why does cleaning out stuff suddeenly seem like a fun way to spend time when you've work to do on an assignment? Still, I haven't got very far with either so its a lose-lose situation :-(

      Well I got my assessment mark back - 86%!!!!
      OK so its not 100% but for my first ever open uni one its pretty good all things considered.

      TMA = Tutor Marked Assessment = Days of stress trying to complete in time
      Well I have submitted electronically a nightmare of an assessment. I have no idea if its even close to right as it seems the course is a lot more subjective that i imagines it would be.
      But too late to worry now. On to the next one.... (Due April)

      I am just looking into booking it now, need to practice the hazard perception bitty, never had to do that before. And peters trying to convince me to get a trail bike!!! can u imagine commuting from Bervie to aberdeen everyday on one of them
