      "ONEMIC RECORDS" in association with "THE ECLIPSE" presents...

      "THE REK DOSE MIXTAPE" release party..

      Recommended Dosage consists of three local artists Cyclone, Hook-banger and Prestige who each bring their own form of talent to the forefront of the group with Cyclone a producer/artist/songwriter, Hook-banger who brings the high energy hooks as well as being an artist/songwriter and Prestige also a producer/artist/songwriter, a combination that delivers your recommended lyrical dosage.

      With live performances and supporting acts alongside great artists such as: The Ying Yang Twins, Tommy and the Krumping Clowns, Smashproof and recently supporting Young Sid on his “Domestic Disturbance” mixed tape tour throughout New Zealand.

      The group also supports and works with The Mangere East Community Learning Centre, a community based organisation where they teach the troubled youth how to produce & market their own creative music as well as to build their confidence and prepare them for live performances.
      As well as the educational side of things the group also coordinates and organises local community events such as xmas celebrations and cultural events

      Musically the group also organises an underground Hip Hop event “THE ECLIPSE” “designed by the artist for the artist” a special evening that celebrates the power of music to bring cultures together.

      In 2007 Recommended Dosage was granted an Enterprise Grant which was used to launch their independent label “ONEMIC RECORDS LIMITED” that specialises in:

      Music Production
      Events Management
      Internet Marketing
      Hip-Hop Music workshops
      Sound Technicians
      DJ’s
      Merchandising

      To ensure that the business runs smoothly each member plays a key role in the organisation of the company.
