- Born in London to a half-French father and Indian-born mother, Pallot spent part of her childhood in India before settling in Jersey. In 2002, she released her debut album in the UK through a major label - an experience that taught her, “many things, but especially that it’s never a good idea to make a video in which you fly.” Parting company with the mainstream music business, Pallot recorded Fires between LA and her London home before releasing the album on her own label Idaho in 2005. Produced by Howard Willing (Smashing Pumpkins), Wendy Melvoin (Prince & The Revolution) and Eric Rosse (Tori Amos), the record teams Pallot’s classical musical training with her love of country, folk and rock music - with influences including Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Carole King and Rufus Wainwright.

Learning to Breathe- the new single...out NOW!
Nerina's fabulous new single, 'Learning to Breathe' is out in record shops today on CD and also two very special and very limited edition vinyls, so make sure you pick up your copy!
The CD tracks are Learning To Breathe (Radio Edit) and Nerina's fabulous cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart. The first 7" vinyl will carry the same tracks as the CD, is pink sparkly vinyl and the lovely gatefold package will include a special poster with a one-off story by Nerina. The second 7" vinyl will have the radio edit of Learning To Breathe on one side and on the other a lovely & totally new song called Vena Cava.

please dont read this..nooo! sorry but In 1997 a girl called lauren was walking in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirrorrsaying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary</3 died shortly after. To be saved paste this to 5 other bands. THIS IS TRUE Now uv started readin dis dunt stop. This is so scary. Send this to 5 ova bands in 143 Minutes. When ur done press F6 and ur crushes name will appear on the screen in big letters. This is scary cause it actually works

i love nerina pallot but i would really like her to get another album! she is too good for only one!

Totally checked out her album again yesterday and I gotta say, it's pretty cool! A few things that are lacking, but overall, if I was to pick a favourite, "Idaho" is obviously my winner.
