The beginning

I will give you my insight to the situation.

Quiet morning mist covers the field in a blanket, swirling across like an ocean.

The tree standing high with witches’ arms grabbing at every shadow.

There alone stand a house. With windows dark and black, the door painted pitch black, roof thatch with straw.

As we walk up to the door, a breeze blow across. Slowly opens the door, there inside dark and concealed in the shadows, lie the unknown.

Stepping inside there blows a cold breeze; we enter a narrow corridor with pictures either side of mountains shrouded in mist. The wall was a dank grey. There was a musky smell about the place.

Walking further there were scratch marks, down most of the wall. There were rooms leading of the corridor. There was the kitchen, living room, and the dining room. If we venture in the kitchen u will find the place as the last dwelling left it.

The kitchen sink full of dirty plates and cups. The kitchen table covered in flour that looked to have been chucked there, chair upturned. The window looked a misty grey.

Now we walk to the living room, with curtains drawn it is hard to see but there were sofas covered in dust so thick it like putting your finger through strawberry jam. There was also a TV in the same amount of dust. The carpet had that sticky feeling you usually get when u are walking into a pub after a hard night partying.

As we lastly walking into dining room there stood a dining table with dust that kills any shine it had before. Also the curtains drawn, I think that the kitchen was the only one that wasn’t drawn.

We next climb the stairs, creaking as we walk up, we see wear and tear of walking of many steps, but what caught my eyes were the scratch marks also on the steps just before reaching the top.

Very dark was the corridor upstairs, it was almost pitch black, can almost feel the fear up here stalking around every shadow that lingers here. Walked toward a door, which presume to be the bedroom. In here smell of musty clothes that has been dumped here and never worn again, a bit like when someone dies on you after so many years.

There were a sense of coldness about the place, was breathing cold air which dominates the house, decide it was time to leave, heard a scratch noise just as leaving the house, looking back there was yellow beady eyes looking out.

Well it is getting dark outside.

Know it was time to go away from this.
