This guy has helped me through the boredom of 6th year. From his superb dancing skills to his dedication to The Brutal Elite; his company is always a treat. I really got to know Nath when he because the sexy drummer of Advent Magic (They were a band – remember?) and since then we have grown more and more into and inseparable duo. You could be forgiven for thinking we were a couple. A couple of brutal men that is! He introduced me to Man-Parties and they have been beautiful. As well as being a perfect opportunity to show off our dance moves.
You can be having a serious man-talk, or sitting for a couple of hours at a lighting desk, it doesn’t matter. He will still make it so fun and hilarious that you think it will be one of those times you remember for ages. And most of them are. Thinking back I realise Nath is probably the most genuine, trustworthy and lovable person I know and I would challenge anyone to not enjoy his company!
We were re-born together as the Brutal Brothers, the founders of The Brutal Elite, in the long eventful month of October 2008. I will always remember that first mountain we climbed together on the spur of the moment, and I’m sure there will be many more before we lose touch. Nathalmighty! Overall nice guy who shows tremendous loyalty to his friends and family. Always quick to help anyone that needs it. Fair enough he has an ego, so what? He wouldn't be Nathan without it! Hilarious comebacks, excuses and dance moves are such a big part of his fun-loving personality and being in any class with him has been an absolute delight.
On the serious side of things he is a teriffic competitor and is a monster at rugby, he runs his heart out and fights for his team-mates like a beaver fights for his wood. He also an amazingly talented drummer for someone who claims not have been playing seriously for very long. The band is very very lucky to have someone like him. Most drummers our age tend to bash about a lot but Nathan has some real class on the kit and demonstrates a maturity with his instrument and strong backing vocal ability (although he may not admit it).
He also has great enthusiasm for drama and his recent interest in directing is something that he really enjoys and does very well with in my opinion. No doubt he will get a very high directing mark in advanced drama! He can also act a bit himself, The Birthday Party scenes he did in Higher drama were exceptionally good as his marks proved.
Off to do psychology then? Perfect for you, such a great thinker and always willing to gain more knowledge. Hope it all goes to plan which im sure it will mate. Hopefully see you in the near future and we can share a quick fire retort or two. Rosstipher

I’ve known Nathan since 1st year. And I’m very very glad that I met him back then, as we’ve had quite a laugh over the last six years J
When I met him back in 1st Year PSE, I was drawn to him by his humour, and… love for Friends. After speaking nearly a whole year, just about Friends episodes we became close friends and I began to trust him with just about everything. Isn’t he so lucky! Man-Talks!
Nath and me have been through a lot over the years, we’ve had many a night hanging about the Bay on Fridays, having a laugh, maybe the odd game of football here and there.
Having been in the same Drama class since the beginning we’ve done a weird mix of ‘acting’ together, from Die Hard the Musical! To interrogating poor Stewart, “is the number 846 possible or necessary?”
Nathan is a very trustworthy guy, you know you can always rely on him. This might be due to his appalling memory, (will you remember who I am in a year mate? You’d better!)

Had a right laugh with this guy during 5th year, done many an LTAD show with him and band practice aswel obv!
