Bloc Party formed in 1998 when Kele Okereke (vocals/guitar) and Russell Lissack (guitar) met in Essex and again in 1999 to form the band "Union" and were joined by Gordon Moake (bass) and most recent Matt Tong (drums).
The band had been known as band names such as Superheroes of BMX, The Angel Range, Diet, and Union until they settled on the name "Bloc Party" in September 2003.
"Silent Alarm" has been their first and only album but before they released 3 EPs that include: "Bloc Party" (EP), "Little Thoughts" and "Two More Years". There new Album: "A Weekend In The City"

Body: On December 24, 2006 at 8 o'clock in the morn.ing, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead. Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened. Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didnt repost a chain leter about a little girl that kills you in your sleep with no natrual cause of death.
