LOL, with this I was going through my old docos and found this “infectious disease” reports (remember them from last year?)
so anyways, I had an infectious disease of my own, only its not an infectious disease, it was a addiction, but addictions are still sort of like a disease, so anyways, I retyped the whole thing but about my addiction and got sorta lazy at the end. Stupid friend got me back into stupid maple, and school’s coming up and SC and everything aggghh!!@QWRT#! But I cured it now, so to heck with that. That;s probably why im writing(typinmg? =x) this now.

INFECTIOUS DISEASE : An infectious disease is a disease that can be transmitted from one person or organism to another. It is caused by microbial agents or micro-organisms (e.g. viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites, etc.).

ADDICTION : A physiological and psychological compulsion for a habit-forming substance. In extreme cases, an addiction may become an overwhelming obsession.

This report is to tell you the cause and effects (and treatment+ prevent) of Maple Fever, short for “Maplestory Fever” and is one of many severe online addictions caught and usually survived by the majority of children. Maple Fever is characterised by compulsive playing of Maplestory.

Causes
There are many causes of this, the most foolproof way of catching it (saying this, aren’t advised to) is to get in direct contact to Maplestory. Ok, fine there’s only one way to catch it, but you can come in direct contact with this in a number of ways. Among these many ways include:
-conformity
-pressure
-boredom
Some people have stronger immune systems than others and will react with the uttermost scorn/disdain, and will discontinue playing the game, but for the majority of people this game will set a fire in their hearts. But as the saying goes “fire makes a great friend, but a greater enemy”… okay, maybe not, but it damn well should be, because this “fire” in their hearts will grow and grow until it’s a super big fire and cannot be stopped unless you have all the king’s horse and all the king’s men, (maybe you’ll need more than that), to put out this fire.

Symptoms
Symptoms of the addiction include:
-becoming and taking over your life
-Loss of time, and a heck of a lot of it (damn, I cant rant properly while swearing like the normal swearing people), but anyway, BELIEVE ME, YOU LOSE HEAPSS
-No social life, LOL, but some of you already don’t have one (like me D: )
-constant complaints from parent/guardian for being on the comp all the time, not good, they’ll hate you for the rest of your life, even when you quit. It happened to me, when a turn on the comp
(asian accent)parent/guardian: “turn on computer again? Why don’t you ever do MORE work for once, always on the computer”
Me: “mum! I did all that already! (points to 1metre high pile of books)”
ANYWAYS, mooooving on

Possible treatments
The only foolproof way of treating this is to delete it from your computer altogether, or tell someone to hide the file somewhere that they know you wont go.
but other methods of treatment are also known to treat this, including:
-getting bored of it
-getting a life.

Impacts on the Society
If more people aren’t playing this stupid game, there would certainly be a drop in obesity rates, for one thing…

parents don’t like it. Only, parent don’t like anything you do unless it has something to do with studying and/or being rich so you can support them. But nonetheless you shouldn’t play it, it brainwashes you

so yeah, i've been thinking of a new year's resolution, to make up for all the crappy stuff i've did for my whole life, and just something personal, just for the fun of making these goals.

so yeah, my new year's resolutions is to:

-study harder (pointless, because mum says i never try hard enough. ever. but i need to for a good SC and reputation at school with teachers >-<")
-read more > give myself a library full of vocabulary
-speaking of vocabulary i need to give myself a better dance vocabulary LOL
-be more nice =_____="
-swear less (mayb i can't get someone to host a swear jar, without the money?>
-dont get fat over these holidays dont get fatter over these holidays
-be as good as andrew and vincent and all of the pro ballers combined (unlikely, but will try )
-better drawing and photoshopping and stuff
