i don't quite know how you do it, bring kids into this life and forget them. i can understand a couple of weeks but what about six months? what excuse is there for that? six months of no contact, a father to his daughter.. six months of not callling, no connection, nothing. there is so much you don't know about me, someone can change alot in six months, and so many things you don't know about, all it takes a phone call, not even five minutes of your time. is that really such a hard thing to do?
i say out loud to all that i hate you. what i would give to be able to be strong to say i want his love, i want his attention, i want his caring, i want him to be proud of me, i want him to bother to call me, i want him to be able to call me and be really interested in how i am, to want to actually know the answer when you ask me how are you? to remember my birthday, to give a damn about me or my life or the rest of your family. but i'm not, it tears me up inside as each day goes on, each day goes past and i don't get so much as a text message saying Hi..
what wrong with meeting up for lunch and wanting to see me and ask how i'm going and to catch up? you only buy me food and make me feel bad for not eating enough and then make me feel worse for eating it cause you make everything my mother's fault. if i don't eat it's because she starves me and i don't have an appetite. if i do eat it must be because she starves me. what about a lunch where you don't make me feel bad for the amount of ChildSupport you pay. why must you listen to her? she tells you lies and you only listen..
why do you let her take control? let her take control of you and everything, you tell us to stand up for ourselves. what kind of advice is given when it isn't taken by the advisor? listen to things she assumes and twist everything till you can believe it's true... look at things in front of you and make them your own twisted advantage..
is there something wrong with caring? or bothering to call? have i done something wrong? am i just not good enough for you to care about me? what about the quotes. the only man a girl can depend on is her daddy..
what if her dad is the only man she can't depend on, friends i've only known for a short time know my birthday, they call and wonder what i'm up too. your my father, why is hard for you to do? whats so horribbly wrong you can't call your own daughter, or your son, to wonder how they're going..
anything could have happened to us, so many things have happened i'd love to tell you about and you havne't bothered to call..
you think i'd be used to it by now, every year another let down, another hope stood upon. i get so excited when i think you'll call, then the disappointment came everytime, right on cue. i mean i got used to it being when you had a court hearing with my mother and you'd suddenly remember you have children, but not even that reminds you anymore.. i waited all day for you to call me, i had the phone glued to my hand, every class i noted the teacher i was waiting for an important call so if i stepped out it was for a reason. but the day dragged on and on in slow motion and not even a text, let alone a phone call. why can't you just actually care about me...

why is so easy for the only man i should have in my life to break my heart??
