Well i moved...not exactly just yet I fly down on thursday 19th July anyway but yeah god i miss all my friends at northern beaches things are just a bit boring at the moment... it sucks my bro got to go to a party already cause he went down before me so it sucks!!! I want to go to a party

December29, 2006: The latest edition of "Girlfriend" magazine, which is aimed at girls under 16, has parents outraged. On the front cover it promotes a story on the sensitive issue of oral sex. Some parents say their children are far too young to be reading such stories
What the hell was with the whole story of this on a current affairs, i am sure many teenage girl me and my friends included buy or at least read most issues of girlfriend magazine, I don't know why so many parents are winging and worried about there children reading about oral sex, sex and any other issues related to that section of their childs life, not many parents know how to answer when asked questions related to sex ect and the answers given are usually not what the child needs to know more of what the parent is comfortable letting their children know. I have a hard time alone talking to my parents about sex cause it just seems they wouldn't understand and then the magazines give great advice and answer nearly every question you could possibly ask about the subjects like oral sex and sex. Girlfriend isn't sayin yeah all girls should go out there and have oral sex it is providing information so the teen girls can make the right choices when put into a situation that may not be wanted by them or may be, and the choices these teens make can be informed they will know the consequences faced by doing such an act then not knowing and getting highly scared.
Then there is the problem of the parents saying but my daughter is only 10-12 I dont like her reading about these issues it is just like hello you bought the magazine in the first place for your daughter and secondly you let her read it knowing it contained such content you did not like it doesnt make sense but it is something you just cant change your children will learn about it one day if not from their parents, they can learn it from magazines, scholl or the most common learning place for teens and children their friends. So i don't see the big deal with the magazine covering oral sex in a SEALED section your child does have the choice of buying and reading the magazine or if they really wanted to they could just skip the sealed section altogether it is entirely a choice that is not the prents but solely the childs.
