In this section, I will talk about how a business will work and the growth and decline of products. Massively huge nationwide retail businesses such as ASDA for example, sell a wide variety of different of products. They would have a market in clothes and mobiles and books and almost anything you can think of.

in my studies of human psychology, i discovered absolutly nothing.

In 2001, i heard the first song that really kicked off my musical interest and that was Ozzy Osbourne`s "gets me through."

From then on, I was just getting tons of CD`s along with other bands such as Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Queen and all these amazing bands from an era that I was sadly born too late for.

i had an old acoustic guitar that sat in the corner of my room that i hardly ever touched and i only ever had interest for listening music until late 2003.

Me and Anil Mailapalli walked into a musical instrument store and I said "should we start up a band?" and he said "yes!"-And thus, the band was born…

My dad has been in lots of bands as the guitarist but now he is the drummer of his current band, I inherited all of his guitars! Anil took up the seat at the drums (my dads drum kit) - straight away, the first influence was defiantly early Black Sabbath.

On the 1st of October 2003, whilst we were in our ninth year of high school, we had our first band rehearsal at "The Mill" in Preston and came up with loads of ideas and kept trying to push our playing abilities to the next level, regardless of the fact that we had only just picked up our instruments. We got bass player, Rory Cooper, roughly three months after starting the band and he contributed some ideas for the songs. Picking a name to suit our personalities wasn’t too hard-we were called "Deranged" We was slowly trying to get better and looking at the early video of a band rehearsal, we had! (phew!)


In 2004, as we got better and heard more influences we added more complicated riffs and more ideas. I had my first attempt at trying to write lyrics during job taster weeks where i worked in an art class and it was called "Attack Of The Plasticine Men" with a concept on world conquest from 20 cm high plasticine people.

This year was mainly spent practicing and coping with failing equipment and dodgy settings but was also very musically experimental.

I was notorious for confusing every one with new ideas, alterations and changing the orders for parts of the song

I also did a guitar speech in front of the class as a sort of first performance and although the guitaring seemed okay, i felt the speech went hilariously wrong!


With Rory's departure a few months before the end of high school in 2005, we got our first singer, Amanda Richardson. We went into a bit of an Evanescence style band during this period but there were difficulties, for example not having a decent guitar amp, guitar or Amanda not having a PA system. It was at this time that i started really getting interested in writing lyrics and i had them very surreal, plain stupid funny lyrics or haunting lyrics. I was fascinated by the style of Cradle Of Filth's lyrics-very dark with what i felt to be some really excellent sounding words. Sadly, a few months into college we had to move on with Amanda’s departure from the band because her obvious desire to be doing other things. The band needed dedication...

By now, the band had got very good. i had begun to get into decent guitar solos, Anil was a natural at his job and we started to meet a new line up.

I randomly saw Kieron Mclaughlin with a guitar and offered him a position thinking about the idea of a twin guitar band like iron maiden. He accepted but soon turned to bass guitar, and replaced my dad who had been playing bass for us all this time. Then we met Daniel Atherton, who was to become the rhythm guitarist (with his beautiful ibanez guitar)!

i took a major influence to the work of Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Randy Rhoads and Brian May and these guitarists inspire my soloing much to the dislike of the chord obsessed college people i was with. (har har!)


At the beginning of 2006, I bought a huge stack speaker and head and replaced my inherited 30 year old Antoria with a brand new Randy Rhoads Jackson Vee!!! oh-and finally after 3 years of band practices, Anil bought his cymbals! (horray
