- As if fated to the live the blues he studied so deeply, Rory Gallagher was beautiful, talented & doomed. He was just 47 years old when he died. But in a career that spanned from 1969 until his death, Gallagher compiled one hell of a legacy.
Whenever he stepped outside of the studio, Gallagher delivered some of the most thrilling & fereocious live performances in blues-rock history. It didn't hurt that he looked like a rock star, with his long, flowing locks & Greek god viasge. But even serious musicians who hated pretty boys couldn't help but be entranced as Gallagher unleashed raw & beautifully phrased note flurries from a battered-to-hell Fender Stratocaster.
In addition, his extreme devotion to blues music drove him to seek a broad intimacy with electric stylists & acoustic fingerpickers, slide players, down home country blues, folky blues & raucous big-city blues.
The man was truly gifted & his interpretation of the blues should not be missed.

In 1997 a girl called lauren was walking in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirrorrsaying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary</3 died shortly after. 4 WEEKS TO RORY GALLAGHER FESTIVAL in Ballyshannon
The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2008 begins on Thursday 29th May and continues through until Sunday 1st June 2008. We are delighted that this year the "JULIAN SAS BAND" will be the main headline act on the Saturday Night at Rory Gallagher Theatre, with "SINNERBOY" (Manchester) completing this the only all-ticket show, that is sure to sell-out in advance.
