My new band, Kasper Rosa, are playing in Auntie Annies tomorrow night (Sunday the 19th) at 8pm with RL/VL and Jackalfeud.

It's only our 3rd show and we're really nervous lol.

Just wondering if you were about, would you fancy heading down? We need around 70 or so people to break even on the whole money side of things! >.<

It should be good craic like, and there is fuck all else to do on a Sunday night.... plus it's only £3 haha.

like instead of being 1-2-3 1-2-3, it's like (123)-(123).

there's something i never thought i would ever do... willingly volunteer to do someone's university homework stuff.
sometimes i amaze even myself...

ok, rhythm... hmm.
what sort of rhythm stuff?
if you tell me what you're doing i'll see if i can make any suggestions to make it easier.
but then again, i find that sort of thing kinda easyish cuz i'm a rhythm guitarist, and proud of it.
long solos get boring... give me a fun riff any day.

but tell me what you need and i'll give you a hand.

just share your degree with me when you're done...

yeah, on hearing that my first reaction was 'hmm... that sounds interesting', but on reflection i can see how that might get pretty boring after a while.
and i'm quite good at mostly unintentional bad puns.

you could do really simple four-beat rhythms with different parts of the spoons, and then put them all over the top of each other to make really complex sounding polyrhythmic stuff.
like, subdivide a bar up into 8 or 16, and then hit different bits of spoons at different times and layer it all on top of each other. bring in different spoons at different times too cuz that would sound cool.
you could use different sizes of spoons too, to get different pitches and stuff.

sorry, i tend to overthink things slightly.

What's the histories?? When would you want me to visit?? Sarah and I are going to Munich at the start of December, and possibly there is a work trip to Amsterdam in January.

I think I finish on Friday 12th December, but my exams are after the Christmas holidays. I kinda like that, but means I have to study over Christmas. I just hope I get them over with though.
