• Let The Good Times Roll

  So! It's summer 2008! The final summer before University! And what a summer it's been so far.
  
  From Paris to London, epic parties and great people, clothes, food and most of all memories.
  
  Add to this, finding what I can only describe as the love of my life on my journey and it really can't get any better!!! So greetings and waves to you in Nina in the US!!!
  
  So, I think it's been fair to say over the last year I've really come out of my shell, which leaves me to mention the great times and people in college. I owe some of you a hell of a lot for what you've done as far as helping me open up and more importantly be myself, and forget the terrible image I seemed to have in school. Sure it was very hard at first, being one of the only people on the course with no art experience(!!!), but I'd be lying in saying it wasn't huge fun!
  
  Special mentions going out to Bex and Rhian for getting me through the "introductionary" stage, Chloe for being a very kind and wonderful conversationalist, Ceri for being a wonderful partner in crime and talking about smut, Joanne for the fun times with blenders, Hannah for the brief but sweet time in photography, the ever so pretty fashion girls for all the pictures and supporting me me in the "Amber" situation, Sophie for putting up with my "you look like Alexa Chung" comments throughout the year but most of all lovely Sam. Coming in and always having engaging and intreasting convosations with such a pretty and lovely girl really made my days that much more enjoyable. Plus any girl who can put up with me rambling about my latest pair of nikes, terrible chat up lines, cliche "Whoarr, wanna put my pop up pirate in her kplunk" and "God, Terry is sooo pissing me off today!" comments nearly every day deserves a drink or two!!! Haha.
  
  On other notes, some thanks going out to some friends from London and Paris who make my trips fun, props going out to the Ed Rec crew ( "BUSY P WHAT THE F***!" ), Modular, F*** You On Friday, DEAL REAL records (R.I.P), and the ever so lovely and sexy Natasha AKA NaSpLaShA at SUPER SUPER.
  
  From the US of A i'd like to shout out to "The Hundreds" for being great guys with an amazing store and scene in LA and SF, funny blogging, and you too Casi with you're Wilde book quotes and breakfast anti men rants...!!! Oh and a big HEY GUYZ to the people at VICE for the "Do's And Don'ts"...
  
  Last thanks going to the lads and ladies at C.Y.N.T for the stella work theve done on making a funky house / cool kid electronica scene in Cardiff one to love AND bringing the one and only Boys Noize to the city for the best party I've had all year!
  Also thanks to all the blogger lads and ladies who keep my imbox flooded with fresh new beats and news AND last but not least, Mum and Dad for always being there along the way to not just put up with me, but have some fun and get involved. Dad... You really are sexy in a pair of Raybans thinking your "hip to be square" haha

• Letting Some Thought Out

  I dont usually do stuff like this. I usually write away in my diary and leave it rest. Been alot on my mind lately. Good times mixed with some real bad. If your a mate or caught up in my goings on you'll know what im talking about. Girls, Life, Photography, College. It's all in here. Below is a bit of poetry I've done, which for once I'm letting out. Why I don't know. Seems the right thing to do, and Im not depressed I ensure you all, you all see the smiles everyday, and their real, just I've been told I write quite deep stuff:
  
  
  
  These words I have written in a whirlwind,
  so if my tail spin just point at me and ill begin where the twirl ends.
  It's difficult to open up, wounds that never shut,
  and watch it bleed while my main critics eat it up.
  
  So much for it is destiny, a limit of choice,
  I'm the photography big hitter, the one with the little understood voice.
  Never really talk my mind, my thoughts too deep, they're philosophical,
  To drop interpretations would seem wierd from me, quite logical.
  
  Lately its nothing but systematic pressure, I ingest and here I type all these letters,
  The misery, visibly, breaking me, physically.
  Behind all the style I walk around half-smiles, hiding pain deep,
  Knowing that I ain't feeling right and while shes still in my head it's hard to sleep.
  
  Subconsciously I really do worry about the people around me,
  They look at me and want another life, But all they do is just see.
  In their heads where they want to be, and after all these years it's just tears,
  They wanted something more, but it's hard to shift the gears.
  Their stressing out, don't really know they did nothing wrong,
  Apologetic, say your sorry but the damage has been done.
  
  Same old song, yet we choose not to take the time to understand the melody,
  Treat each other like a criminal, the typical third strike felony.
  I can't believe I'd ever say this but it's hard as fuck when you see yourself cry,
  Sitting in your memory, looking deep into my face never blinkin an eye.
  I was stupid, I put my heart on the table like it was just another object,
  But now im out the other end, its demolished, and not even a award winning architect,
  Can sit and think of starting to rebuild the peices that are a wreck.
