      Going in the deep side without saying no
      All linked in hands
      Too scared to let go
      Then go back up to where we could touch the sand

      Still we were hand in hand

      Now when we need each other the most of all

      To let each other fall
      With no paddle to row

      No longer hand in hand

      No one to catch you when you fall
      Or save you when a current pulls you under
      I guess you weren’t there after all
      And it starts to rain, no thunder

      No longer there

      Now im all alone
      Almost dead
      And you’re up on your thrown
      There’s nothing left to be said

      Still there

      As I wake up from this nightmare
      And we’re hand in hand
      Friends forever as you swear
      As im pulled back to where my toes touch the sand

      After all

      We’ll be hand in hand
      To catch each other when we fall
      Together as if trapped in a rubber band
      As large as the world gets its still small

      Cuz we’ve been hand in hand after all

      It's that thing you smell when you first wake up.
      It's when you finally get a knowing smile out of that someone.
      It's when a butterfly lands on your hand.
      It's the first snowflake to land on your tongue.
      It's that certain thing that tells you your heart just fell into the deep pit of your stomach.
      It's that spark you feel when you get your first kiss.
      It's the last tear of heartbreak.
      It's the feeling you get when you know nothing but pain.
      & you finally know, that no matter how bad things will get or how badly you get hurt, there's always that bit of Hope left...just enough to get you to tomorrow.
