4; When they put the money on the counter instead of handing it to you and making it awkward to pick up.
5; Brians “ehs”. Brain the window cleaner comes in everyday and usually oders the same thing and although I’m one of the only memebers of staff that actually like him even i have to admit the fact that he says “eh” at the end of everything he says can get annoying. e.g. “i’ll have a piece of pie eh, and eh, a wee bit of cream with that eh, just a wee bit though eh. and some fruit eh”.
6; This gardener who comes in and orders dessert with his mouth still full. It’s sick. You’ll be trying to take his order while he has like trifle dribbling down the side of his mouth.
7; When people don’t tuck their chairs in.
8; When they pour salt alllllll over the table. I mean c’mon is it really that hard to open a little sachet without getting it everywhere.
9; “Do you do chips?”
10; People that ask for muffins.doughnuts/pancakes WHEN WE HAVE LITERALLY 409752 OTHER DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF CAKES TO CHOOSE FROM.
11; Families that don’t order together and you get to the till and they’re like “oh, i’m with them”.
12; People that are like “I’ll have one of everything” thinking it’s funny and as if we haven’t heard that one A MILLION TIMES ALREADY.
13; People that count out their change and look over the recete in front of you.
14; People that have been standing in the queue in front of the cakes for at least 5 minutes and when you get to them and ask what they’d like they look at the cakes like “oh” as if they are only just noticing them and take a further 5 mins to decide.

17; People that question their bill and don’t apologise when you prove them wrong.
18; People that wait for their 5p change. I mean really, you go to alot of effort for people and yet they still go to the hssle of opening the seperate section of their purse for the sake of 5p!
19; When you tell people the soup plates are “flimsy” yet they still attempt to pick them up with one hand as if that rule oesn’t apply to them and consequently still the soup everywhere and expect you to be the one to clean it up.
20; Mumblers.
21; When you ask people to move along and they don’t. Or when you say to someone “I’ll get you along at the till” but they stop at the drinks machine.
22; When they don’t tell you that things are to take-away untill the very end then look at us as if we were supposed to know that.
23; When you ask if they’re being served and they say “no” when really they are and someone has just gone to put their hots on.
24; When they sneak into the big/small extentions after they’re been closed and when there are other tables avaliable.
25; Asking for things like toasties that aren’t on the menu. IF IT ISN’T THERE WE DN’T DO IT.
26; When people know they’re going to have a large order but fail to take trays.
27; Deciding they want cakes when we are at the till. THE SELF-SERVICE IS LAYED OUT AS A PROGRESSION. CAKES/MEALS/ROLLS-SALADS-SOUPS-DRINKS. ORDER THAT WAY AND DON’T DECIDE YOU WANT SOMETHING FROM THE START AT THE END IF YOU KNEW YOU WANTED IT ALL ALONG.
28; When you ask someone if they want a black or white coffee and they say brown. No, order black then add your own milk.
29; When people can see that the queue starts at the cakes regardless of what you want to order yet stand waiting to be served at the till. Especially when they complain of having been waiting to be served because as it is not the usual place to be served we are not on the lookout for customers there.
30; “Do we help ourselves to salads?” WHEN THERE IS CLEARLY A LARGE GLASS PANEL IN FRONT OF THEM.
31; When it’s after closing and people know we’re shut and waiting to leave yet still sit w

Basically TITP07 was the best ever.
There are many reasons for this which I'm sure I've told you all a million times already so I won't really you into all that again.
However, what I will go into is the fact that I met The Maccabees.
Picture the scene. It's around 12ish and not many people have arrived yet. Having met Harri-et from the campsite enterance after I'd gone to see We Are The Physics, we decided to go and see The Cribs. Walking along, on our way to the inner circle Harri-et proclaims "Oh look, he looks like the guy from The Maccabees!". Turning around I saw that it was infact The actual Maccabees. All of them. So basically we stood next to The Maccabees and watched The Cribs with them. Felix stroked my back. Loads. Orlando is short and very hot.
In an interview with NME on my flashbox Felix and Orlando from The Maccabees talk about going to see The Cribs which makes me very happy indeed because I was there with them.
I love The Maccabees.
