I'm working really hard towards 'keepin it real', something I really have a problem with on the net. Oh who am I kidding... I have a problem with it 'live' as well. It's just another way that fear insinuates itself into my life. So I'm coming out from under the covers and turning on the light and here I am... with my real name and everything. *trembles*

Some things I've been up to lately:

Cleaned out and painted the back bedroom. I brought the walnut beds that my dad made over and put them in that room. I worked really hard steam cleaning the mattresses, as they had gotten a bit musty. But they smell daisy fresh now. I don't have sheets on them yet but will soon... probably after Christmas. Then I will officially have a bonified 'guest room'. :)

Now we need to paint the outside of the house as it has been several years since it was painted and it looks really run down and shabby. I test painted a couple of colors on the back side of the house to see if we liked them against the new roof. We've driven all over town looking at house colors, etc. We are still clueless as where to start.

I worked really hard for weeks going through my parents old house as we are shutting it down. They've been gone for years now. I found my mom's pink depression glass play tea set that she had when she was a little girl. Hopefully I'll have pictures to post soon. It is just priceless to me. I've also found boxes and boxes of old, old photos, some of which can be seen at http://millerfillpot.blogspot.com/... some I posted here. I am finally in a good place about it all and have been able to reach some sense of closure, which has helped me lots. It hasn't been so much about closing the door on my past as it has been finally moving forward without a terrible knot of grief in my stomach. God is good.

I've been going to physical therapy for weeks now and it has helped me lots as well. I am much stronger and it has helped reduce my level of pain. I spend an hour in the pool, 3 days a week, doing exercises that are specific to my personal problems. They also gave me exercises to do at home that has been helping my lower back and hips. They also have been giving me therapy and treatment in the office and now my hips aren't rotated out of position and I don't have one leg longer than the other, which has helped immensely with walking upright, standing on my feet, sitting down or up, and going up and down stairs. What a blessing! They also made splints for me to wear on my thumbs to keep me from bending them, to give the tendons a chance to rest and heal. I have also been getting physical therapy and ultrasound treatments and treatments with an industrial strength 'tens' unit on my hands that is soooooo wonderful. I am SO thankful.

I got a 'Learn to speak Spanish' computer program and I've been trying to learn a few phrases along. I love this program because it says the word and then gives you a few moments to repeat it and then rates your attempt between 'tourist' and 'native', which helps LOTS.

Wednesday nights are fun at our house as we have all gotten rather hooked on the TV show 'LOST' (http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/ind.... We all absolutely love it, including our daughters and grandsons and we have lots of fun anticipating each new episode every week. I make soup and cookies and everybody comes for dinner and we cuddle up out in the den with our blankies and watch. What alot of fun we all have together!

I forgot to say I also painted all the doors and trim in the hallway... six doors to be exact. I took down the front room curtains and washed and ironed them. I redecorated the open shelves over my kitchen sink and I finally hung the decorative plates over the pie safe that I have been intending to do for over a year. Looks nice.

Lots of new movies coming out that we would like to see. I'd like to see 'I walk the line'. Hubby and I saw Zorro and I went with the kids to see Harry

Does anybody out there use Firefox? I downloaded it a few weeks back because the blog I post old family photos to didn't like Explorer. I really liked it at first, then I started getting all these wierd popups and such that I could not make go away. Nothing would make them go away... not Norton, nor MooSoft nor any kind of pop-up blocker or spyware remover. This past week my computer was so bogged down by all these things being loaded to my computer that were not recognized as a virus or trojan that my computer would barely run... and I couldn't use Explorer... at ALL. I finally had to reformat the hard drive (again) just to get it running again! I'm bummed. I strongly suspect it had something to do with Firefox as that was when my troubles began. Anybody else?

hehe wing walking, hope I didn't scare you too much! I think it's probably a lot more scarier then sky diving, being strapped on top of a wing of an old fashion plane that does loop the loops and death dives doesn't really sound that exciting :L

I'm diddling ok, :) still as barmy as ever though! I got the photo of the sunset that was taken on the cherokee queen 2 on me desk now as I found a photoframe that was empty lol people keep saying did the picture come with the frame lol.
