Moment1: Arklow
*siting down on a little wall waiting to catch the bus*

*Gert pushes me over and i fall from the wall*
Gert:"UNEXPECTED!! "

*Boarding the bus which comes a few minutes later*
*I push gert while she's handing bus driver her ticket"
Me:"UNEXPECTED! "
*Gert falls over and "accidentally" puts her hand on bus drivers crotch*

Lesson to be learned; What goes around comes around!

Moment2: Badly wanting to pee

Gert: I need to go toilet.
Me: Go then.
Gert: Okay, in a minute.

*Daddy walks into the toilet and doesn't come out til several minutes later*

Gert: My turn.
Me: Not yet...if you know what i mean.
Gert: (catching the scent) I see.

*A few secons later*

Gert: I can't hold it any longer, i need to go!!!!
Me: Oh gert, you'll have to hold your breath.
Gert: Right, if i don't come out in a few minutes, you have my permission to knock down the door!
Me: Coz i'd wanta do that!

Moment 3- Crumpets

*After eating one crumpet had not sufficed my hunger i go to toast another one*
Catherine: Mairead's here!
Me: Nooooo, my crumpet!!
Gert: Just take it out of the toaster!
*In eagerness to take the crumpet out i nearly break gert's toaster*
*Walking out to the gate, gert's stupid dog coco attacks me*
Me: GERT! YOUR DOG LICKED MY CRUMPET!!!

Moment 4 - various quotes during camogie training

Gert: Laaads, she never gets to the ball....what is she doing like?!
Me: Ah gert, leave her alone, she's clearly asleep like! Sure i often hibernate during matches too....

*Gert describes what a hook is*
Me: Cool, do you know what?....im gna hook someone...im gna do it!
*I fail....miserably*

Moment 5 - The pessimistic woman

*Down at farmleigh pitch, match ends, spectators begin to evacuate the stand*
*A group of old women are walking along deep in conversation*
Old woman 1: Yeah so he went off anyway and it was awful!
Old woman 2: Ah sure we're all gna die someday anyway!
*Me & gert look at eachother and burst ou laughin*
Me: Laaads, she's some pessimistic woman!
Gert: Ahsure does it matter really?...we're all gna die someday anyway..
Me: Snuff it like?
Gert: Yep.

Gert. Yep.

Gert: Yes naomi ..

Moment 6 - hangin out at my house

*Lying on my couch one evening.*
Gert: (looking at the window in my ceiling) How do you open that window?
Me: We don't.
Gert: But what if you wanted to?
Me: But we don't want to.
Gert: But do you not have that stick thing you open them high windows with?
Me: We don't open that window.
Gert: But do you not have it?
Me: Why does it matter?..we don't open that window.
Gert: But..
Me: Laaaads gert, shut up!

*Later on that night*
Me: Have you never heard of fred?
Gert: Who?
Me: Our invisible pet rabbit fred.
Gert: ...

Me: He's invisible.

Me: Gert, he's invisible...do you understand what that means?
Gert: Yeah but if he wasn't what colour would he be?
Me: He's invisible so he has no colour.
Gert: Imagine he isn't invisible. Now, what colour would he be?
Me: Fuck sake gert, shut up!!

*conclusion: Gert has a very obsessive personality.

*One evening, both me & gert were relaxing as usual in my sittin room drinkin water with ice*
