- The band was formed by Matt Good and Travis Richter during their days in high school, though back then the band was an emocore band named First Too Last. The band was at first just a school band, but later in the future they would sign with a record label named Epitaph, though when recording their first EP 'Aesthetic' they were signed with Four Leaf Recordings.
The band consisted of 5 members: Phillip Reardon (Vocals), Joey Brandon (Bass), Matt Good (Guitar, Vocals), Travis Richter (Guitar) and Derek Bloom (Drums). On recording their their first public album 'Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Bodycount' Phillip left the band due to music differences, and in came 15 year old Sonny Moore! Moore originally auditioned for lead guitar, but after fellow members heard his amazing vocal talents in a nearby singing booth, they didnt think twice and immediately put him in position of vocal front-man. He was discovered through Myspace, and Brandon was replaced by Jon Weisberg.
