- Me: I am, or have been, an author, artist, mulit-mediaist, juggler, fire-eater, teen activist, singing telegram girl, semi-stalker (it was all innocent -- really!), grand prize-winning Gong Show contestant, cult rock star, Oprah guest, and more.
My life: I have basically done everything unaccording to plan. And you can read about all my fun-filled, wacked out escapades in Queen of the Oddballs (which Publishers Weekly called "fresh and funny... hilarious and heartbreaking"). I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'! =)
I: Would love to spread the word about my book cuz so many peeps have said they're blown away by it, and it has inspired them to let their creativity and oddballness thrive. Mo' please!

Hello, I loved the Gong Show! I think I saw your book in Barnes and Nobles. I was attracted to it because I have never really lived my life according to a plan. I did everything I could to become famous. I mean I really worked at it, but due to some events, I won't bore you with them here, I wrote a book too! I am so proud of my book because I took my unconventional life, moved to NYC from Virginia while everyone else stayed there and had at least 5 kids a piece, and I have found a way to help other people.
