- The Collards (Formerly Katch) formed in October 2005 when Jimi joined Jay, Jon, Mike and Neil to complete the Five Piece. With a successful gigging History in places such as The Cavern and Jacksons Pit, Katch made their mark as one of the better Live acts around.
2 years on and due to other commitments, Bassist Mike left the band. Although the band were disheartened by this they carried on. Jimi’s brother Dan had been writing songs and being Katch’s guitar tech since Jimi joined the band. So Katch chose Dan to replace Mike.
Now the band have changed their name to the Collards after a piano in their practise room. The Collards intend to carry on gigging out and about the UK and hopefully some one will recognise them.

As For This Weekend, We Have Been In The Studio Recording Three New Professional Tracks That Will Be Completed In The Next Week Or Two...One Of These Songs Is This Summer, A Great Tune We Look Forward To Play At Each Gig...
Speaking Of Gigs, Our Next One Is In The Queens Head In Bradley On The 20th Of June, A Friday. The Doors Open At 7pm And We'll Be On Stage Approximately 9pm. Its Free Entry And Should Turn Out To Be Another Great Night, As It Has Been Previously In There!

It Was A Fantastic Night And We Really Enjoyed Meeting Up And Watching The Wallbirds And Of Course One Night Only Themselves. Both Bands Were Class On The Night And They're Sound As Also!

Its Been Confirmed! The Collards To Play With One Night Only!
Thank you to every single one of you who have voted for The Collards to support One Night Only.
The gig is schedualed as there last in there tour and The Collards will be supporting them on May 24th this year. Its a shame that all the tickets have been sold out tho, and have been for a while. But if youve grabbed yourself one, your in for one hell of a night!
