If Damian Rice had written these songs everybody would be raving about them!' Rob Smith, Cockelbob Records. Dave O Grady is a singer/songwriter from Kildare,Ireland.Having been raised on a healthy diet of Creendence Clearwater Reval from a very ealy age Dave loves nothing more than to take out the old telecaster and jam out some dirty dirty blues and swamp rock.Having played in bands all his life he has settled nicely with just him an his acoustic guitar as to not over complicate things with a"Big Band". Dave prides himself on writing the most honest songs he can and people has definatly warmed to his sound.Dave is always working on new material and performing and so has not set a date for an official album/single release. Sense Of Sound; Dave is proud to say he is a member of the legendary Sense of sound choir and loves the deversity and freshness of what they do. working with the choir Dave has had some wounderfull oppertunities to play with some legends within the music business such as Bon Jovi, and Seal.

"O'Grady delivers a crisp, easy-listening sound..." the kildare post
Singer and songwriter Dave O'grady has had his music compared to Irish great Damien Rice. From Sallins, he brings a fresh acoustic sound that is gathering a steady following.
His recent two track free CD is going down a storm and his recent gigs have included supporting The Sullivan Brothers of YOUR A STAR.Speakin to the kildare post about his latest recording O'Grady said:"a lot of my songs, from the feedbacki've gotten back so far, have been understood in dozens of different ways by various people.Everyone seems to have their own take on them and what they mean, whish is pretty cool. I'm very proud of everything I've written and it seems that so far they've all gone down really well whicj=h I'm plesently surprised at."
O'Grady delivers a crisp, easy-listening sound that is friendly to the ear. I may have listened to his CD the fisrt time out of obligation, but I've been spinning it from pure enjoyment ever since. Definatly worth a listen!!
