CBA Syndrome

Previously underestimated, this highly contagious disease can wipe out entire 6th year populations. "cba syndrome" can be both acute and chronic. The disease spreads through chat and gestures indicating boredom or lack of desire to do anything. The disease is thought to have originated in the darkest depths of the West Coast of Scotland, where there is a high level of "cba" resulting in the highest levels of obesity, cardiovascular disease and a decline in pupils' marks from previous years.

Chronic CBA syndrome

Early cases begin immediately after highers, and then tend to be fatal. However as time progresses more and more chronic cases develop in the 6th form population. Once university applications have gone and unconditional offers begin pouring in a higher number of cases can be diagnosed. Once the prelim period has been reached all hope is lost. Symptoms include increased pool ability, lack of class attendance, loss of mobility and mental capacity and therefore poor results in tests and exams, increased boredom and addiction to facebook poker.

Acute CBA syndrome

Although technically not classed as a syndrome, acute onset of the cba mentality can be just as devastating as contracting the full blown disease. The rapid onset of acute cba syndrome occurs most frequently during periods of high stress, high boredom, or when something important has to be done, these include but are not limited to - games, pse, class, school, and saturday morning matches.

Treatment

A cure for cba syndrome is yet to be found; however studies have shown that the level of "cba" decreases once university life is undertaken. Treatment methods include - partying, sleeping, consuming alcohol (more effective in excessive amounts), going out with friends and holidays. Other treatment methods have been tested but have failed miserably. These include - locking the common room, removing playstation and DVD player, removing loud speakers, shouting and making threats, administering 'strong' words of warning.

Links with other Diseases

CBA syndrome has a direct affect on a person’s chances of become obese and contracting cardiovascular disease, resulting in coronary heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. A connection between the disease and diabetes in thought to exists but tests are yet to be carried out
Another major disease associated with cba syndrome is "GBS" aka Grumpy Bastard Syndrome.


GBS

Chronic GBS
The first case of GBS ever found was of the chronic type. The patient, who shall not be named, began displaying symptoms of grumpiness and extreme rage. It is believed the condition was a contracted through extreme ripping, humiliation and general bullying of this patient. Links have also been discovered between GBS and vegetarianism.

Acute Onset GBS

Symptoms are displayed in short bursts. Causes include alcohol consumption, being ripped, and when stuff has to be done and you just cba (see above). Although very rare the first case of acute GBS discovered was a direct result of alcohol consumption.
