    • Feels like home....

      Probably because it is, and I'm here! Yup i'm back in christchurch.

      Not entirely sure what really happened to get us here, everything happened extremely quickly and only a few people knew we were coming back. I had less than 36 hrs from the times our tickets were booked to our departure time so it was a mad dash to get things done in time. So, sorry if anyone wanted to meet us at the airport - besides we arrived at 1150pm sunday night.

      This is a permanent move - at least in my mind for the forseeable future but you never really know where life might take you.

      Anyways things are going good, i'm doing the job hunting thing. I had 3 interviews yesterday in town and i'm waiting to hear about them today so fingers crossed.

      If anyone wants to catch up sometime in the next couple of weeks, throw me a mail on here with your number, and i'll call you - we get cheap calls to christchurch.

      Guess its about time I updated this thing huh?

      Whats going on these days? well, we're in Aussie!! (huzzah!). I'm job hunting but I'm sure something will come along soon. Patrick is enjoying his break from working, until I can get the money together for his immigration (oh what a joy that process will be). Once I get work sorted, i'm thinking about volunteering - not sure what kind of volunteering but i'll find something.

      Weather here has been gorgeous, even considering we had about 3-4 days straight rain! it was definitely needed thats for sure, the area's had a really bad drought for the past 5 or so years so this helped towards replenishing things a bit.

      Its really awesome being around family, I've missed these guys (still miss everyone in nz <3).

      For anyone who missed my message - I have a cell phone now, so throw me a note/email/whatever with your number and I'll throw you a text sometime.

      Well its been awhile since we last chatted; I guess alot has happened in that time!!! Hoping you are algood and that life is treating you OK? How is the family!
      For me; its been a tough 3 months; work is a struggle; but thats what happens in a recession; but I do now have some good things to look forward too; am talking of family and close friends which sometimes can be a headache as they are all growing up; my step daughters are teenagers; so there are always drama’s somewhere to sort thru! And as business picks up again there are challenges and goals to achieve! I just take one day at a time aye; however recently had to move into a smaller place to save money and so that I could pay some more bills

      Yeh having two winters would actually do that. At least you are readjusting lol. im good been busy moving back home to save money lol. The snow was so much fun.

      One of my poor flat mates had to be woken up to see the snow and comment on it, otherwise i was going to take her out in it. lol She stayed awake for the display of snow lol.

      In the mean time i dragged my other flat mate out into the snow as she always complained it was too cold so i made her have fun !!!!
