Tokyoblu is 5 !!!
A lot can happen in half a decade. Whilst only a fourteenth of the average human’s life cycle, in clubland it’s an eternity, a landmark reached all too infrequently and one that signifies a serious dedication to the fine art of formulating people’s hedonism.
Friday August 3rd see's Edinburgh's Tokyoblu hit this milestone and we're gonna put on one hell of a party to celebrate!
From our early full on parties in Ego's cocteau lounge via the legendary Venue (RIP) and the dawn of the Tokyoblu live band to our current home over 2 floors @ Ego the last five years have been an incredible experience for everyone involved. Our aim has always been to put on the best parties possible and try and raise the bar for clubbing in Edinburgh, we put on the parties that we would want to go to as clubbers and the enthusiasm from everyone at Tokyoblu hopefully comes over in our club night. We have had some mind blowing nights including our last night at the venue, the 2 secret garden parties, the fancy dress halloween dungeon dance, NYE 06 @ The Liquid Rooms and most especially our birthday parties which have always been the finest night of the year for us.
The last year especially has seen Tokyoblu start to hit some serious form, the atmosphere at the club night has been absolutely electric and we have managed to pick up brilliant gigs as far afield as Dubai, Warsaw, London & Brighton not to mention the incredible experience that was being the first ever act to play 2 seperate stages at T in the Park, both of which rocked. 2007 especially has seen the Tokyoblu live band coming into their own and writing some seriously ass shakin tunes with an aboslute belter of a newbie Animal freak out taking shape nicely for the birthday. The support recently from national press has also been incredible with another major feature in this Saturday's Daily Record as well as articles in the Sun, list, metro and a mix on xfm this coming saturday night.
Thanks for all your support over the last 5 years we hope you can make it down on the 3rd and help us celebrate in style.

We touch down in Edinburgh fresh off the back of our IBIZA LAUNCH at EL DIVINO and will be making sure that the hedonistic vibes will be transported from the White Island.
