Good evening boys and girls,
Today i am going to tell you about the story of the purple phone and rant a little (:
And before i tell you this story, don't tell me to be "positive" because the phone might turn up because i've come to accept that it probably won't. Tis just an object after all, objects can be replaced. Replacing the contacts is the hard part.

Once upon a time...
This afternoon, being thursday, we had a hockey game. The team talk took place in the changing room and i innocently and stupidly left my belongings for the first time in ever in the changing room.
After a grueling game losing 2-1, we returned to the changing room for a post-game team talk.

As i make my way back to the car, bag in tow, without a clue of what had happened, i have a search for my cellphone to text my brother to tell him i'm coming home.
Low and behold!
I couldn't find my phone in my bag!
"that's ok" i think, "it must be in the car hahah" -lalala frolick through the imaginary daisy field with mr bunnykins-
After a good rummage through the car and tearing the contents of my bag out, the phone was still not present. D:

but

SURPRISE
what do i see in the bottom of my bag? My SIM card and Memory Card!

Conclusion:
My Purple Sony Ericsson k770i cellphone that i've had for 3 months, has indeed been stolen.

Rant time
Yes, i did leave my bag in the changing room when i "shouldn't have" (don't even think of telling me that i shouldn't leave my bag in the changing room next time, just don't go there.)
but just because i made a careless mistake in trusting that the world was a safe and not fucked place, doesn't made theft ok.
Maybe they just wanted a pretty new phone that daddy wouldn't buy for them or were too goddamn lazy to bring home their bacon and buy it themselves.
That aside, my phone is gone. I accept that, it's just an object, objects can be replaced.

The good in this,
*thieves nowaday have a slither of sympathy and soul left, they DID leave my sim card and memory card.
*all photos, games, music were saved onto my memory card so at least the photos are still there.
*the phone was quite new so that the newly added contacts weren't many and i still have all the original contacts on my old phone
*my old phone still works, so i am still able to contact people


The realisticism (no i don't think that is a word)
*The world isn't a good place. no matter how much you like that rose tint, it's a tint and it's not the truth
*we shouldn't have to lock everything up if people were just able to accept what they have and try to improve that by hard work, not by someone else's efforts
*i have learnt my lesson, days are either good or bad. if your day is currently colourless, it will soon become coloured, trust me.
*Last but not least, it's gone, the pretty, shiny, brand spanking fucking new purple phone is gone.

Message to the world
IF YOU SEE OR HEAR OF OR WHATEVER, IF SOMEONE HAS A SHINY NEW PURPLE SONY ERICSSON K770i CELLPHONE. THAT PHONE IS MOST LIKELY mine. YOU cannot GET THAT PHONE IN NEW ZEALAND ANYMORE. I GOT IT FROM OVERSEAS. IF THEY ARE NICE ENOUGH OF A PERSON AND HAVE EVEN PART OF A HEART, THEY WILL RETURN THE PHONE SAFE AND SOUND.
IF THEY HAVE EVEN A SLITHER OF SOUL LEFT at least send me my contacts


Coda
Regardless of the happenings of the day, it was a phone. a phone is an object, and objects are replaceable.
All it comes down to now, is hard work, a few extra nights waitressing, saving up and getting a new one. (:
