Hi all you viewers of my site!
To introduce my contemporary existence to you a bit: I come from Prague, over the last few years I lived in Amsterdam where I spent an amazing year of studies, then San Francisco with my bf (we have a passion for traveling), before I spent a few months in India working in one orphan home... I got my M.A. at the Charles University in Prague, my majors were English lit and linguistics + Pedagogy. I love working with young people and have been working with them at different places...CZ, Morocco, India...
I have a younger brother, lovely mom and many great people around me, incl. my dear boyfriend. Lots of my closest friends are from abroad. That makes it hard to meet, but easy to find a reason to travel. :o)
I am currently oscilating among Europe, India and the US...hard to decide which one is home for me right now...

R&B, hip-hop, soul, classical music...well, I used to be a big Michael Jackson fan. Still like him a lot, but I'm not a fanatic anymore.

  • News in a nutshell

    Hi girls!
    Sending greetings to every one of you!
    I hope you're all doing fine in your various destinations and you've had a great weekend.
    I have some news to share with you...good news overall, I think.
    I got the job I negotiated for over a month and am starting in the ISP (International Study Programs) company in November. It's a program manager position in the Asia team and it will include designing and managing study programs for MBA students to various Asian destinations (mostly China and India, but also other ones in south-east Asia). Pretty psyched about that! :) Seems like a nice job with young team of int'l people and traveling included. yay!

    Uli was here for 2 days and we had a lovely romantic time together, even went salsa dancing and for some candlelit dinners and tearooms. Everything seems to be going better with us now and we are talking about having a home in Prague for some time...or one of our homes at least. :)
    let's see how that will work out.

    Other than this, I about about to publish some pedagogical articles about my job in India and Morocco. nice way to spend some time before starting the job. Plus, I'm (very slowly) starting to work on my PhDr thesis (oh god...no motivation somehow. it's jsut hard to start it I think).

    So that's my news in a nutshell. I hope to hear from you soon either here in BEBO or in your letters. and I promise to answer soon too.

  • Prague stage...

    Hi to all my friends!

    I'm sending all my love to everyone from Prague, where I am these days. It's been a little rough time the last few weeks and I must apologize to everyone who is waiting for my letters (Virag, Clava...). There were things I had to deal with and figure out (my mind was so busy with stuff that often I even forgot to eat...). In those days, I doubt my letters would be any good anyhow.
    Now I am doing and feeling much better. As if something changed inside me (for the better) and I have started to read, write, play piano more and work on new projects.
    I will tell you more in my letters or when I talk with you on skype...
    I just wanted to say, please understand my delays and not showing up on bebo so often lately. I have resolved to stay in Prague for some time now (as I realized that going to either Spain or India would mean only a personal escape from something that lies within myself anyway). I am happy being here now. Enjoying the tearooms, meeting new people and old friends, theatres, old beautiful Prague...(anyone wants to come visit?)
    I also realized that this is an important stage for me and Uli as well. Our relationship is growing over the distance now. we are handling it carefully. we'll see what the future brings... :)

    I hope you are all doing fine, are enjoying the coming autumn and working on your inner happiness. :)
    Btw, which interesting books have you been reading lately?
    I have some good ones here, Coelho's "Pilgrimage" and some haiku collections.

    Many greetings to everyone from Bulgaria where I am enjoying real summer days!
    Hope everyone is doing fine. I am enjoying myself, trying not to think of the problems I might be facing when getting back to Prague on Tuesday (already...aah).
    the seaside, weather, people, food, nature...everything is really cool over here and i am getting into a nice state of mind while resurrecting bits of bulgarian language in my brain. it's fun to learn new words and remember those forgotten. :D

    hi dear teresa,

    whats up with you? im at my parents home now with a broken shoulder.....gosh, its such an unlucky year for me but i hope its just a short bad episode in my life even if it seems so long.....i broke up with szabolcs in january, i failed my driving exam in traffic, it turned out that i will have another operation with my thyroid gland, then another love story with a possibly bad ending and now i fell off and broke my shoulder. you know what,teresa? i wont give it up and i will fight for my happiness. i will recover soon and survive my operation in june luckily and i will enjoy the rest of my summer. i wont let this bad luck turn me down totally.....no...no....im still behind with all my letters but as soon as im ready to open a new chapter in my life i will write to all my great penpals- can you be a bit patient,dear? you are such a wonderful friend,tersa...i know you are on my side. what abou your news,dear? will you keep me updated?

    It's your turn to write :) Actually I have sent out my last letter ages ago. You can read about my new job in my blog, at least partly. It is going well so far and if things will stay like this, I will be very satisfied. My new class is very cute and international. I had some serious voice problems, now it is better but still not so fine, so eventhough I really like my class now, teaching can be rather difficult. But I am doing a therapy and so I hope all will be fully okay within a few months or so...
