Jermaine Beckford (born December 9, 1983) is a professional footballer currently playing for Leeds United.

Leeds United beat off competition from Chelsea Crystal Palace (where he had a trial and played for their reserve team), Charlton Athletic, Sunderland, Southampton and Watford to secure his transfer from Wealdstone in March 2006. He had previously been part of the youth set-up at Chelsea before being released and later joining Wealdstone. He scored 35 goals in 40 games for the non-league side. His first appearance for Leeds was the 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace in March 2006, coming on as a substitute against a club he turned down. He scored his first goal for the club in his second reserve match, helping the side beat Birmingham reserves 2-0. He joined Carlisle United on a month-long loan after a lack of first team opportunities at Elland Road[1]. In the first few minutes of his loan spell he was booked and also on the score sheet.and now backat leeds he is scoring non-stop
