Freaky Friday 4/10 - hey im sick - needed something stupid to watch
Xmen 3 5/10 - not the best out of the lot
Xmen 2 6/10 - ah...wolverine rocks
Xmen 1 7/10 - i love rogue's hair!
21 5/10 - was SO disappointed
We own the night 6/10 - didn't like the ending

Supersize me 7/10 - makes me want to have a McDonalds...
Butterfly Effect 6/10 good premise for a movie but didnt demonstrate the chaos theory effectively...
The rainmaker 5/10 - good cast but i was bored
28 Days later 7.5/10 Only copping on now that "I am Legend" was the last movie i watched -- still a good movie, still frightens the shite out of me...
I am Legend 6/10 - good but reminded me of 28 days later...also the SFX animals were rubbish
Mamma Mia 10/10 - I'm such a girl and loved this movie....
Kill Bill 2 8/10 - brilliant movie... just the end lets it down for me... aka disappointed
Lord of War 6/10 retrospective and hey...stars Ethan Hawke

Wanted 7.5/10 - Mm.. SFX were a little overloaded.. but an ok movie - James McEvoy...can devour me anytime
Once 9/10 - Linklater rip off but bloody brilliant - wasnt crazy on ending but loved loved loved this movie
American Gangster 4/10 - So disappointed with this Ridley Scott movie - Washington was not 1bit right for this role.
Sex and the City (the movie) 9.5/10 - minus 0.5 only cos there wasn't more of Steve! Fab Fab movie (don't make another one - leave it be!)
The Sentinel 5/10 - ah, i was bored
The Da Vinci Code 7/10 Tom Hanks is still wrong for this film...
Good Will Hunting 8.5/10 Just wanna take Matt Damon into my bosom...
Sex and the city Series 1-6 9/10 - just love this boxset!
Gone Baby Gone 5.5/10 - was pretty predictable but fun - Good effort from Ben Afflect (director) and Casey Affleck (cor....I would!)
Prison Break Series 3 8/10 - Scofield is still kinda cute, but Lincoln... Cor!
Grey's Anatomy Series 3 7/10 - not as good as S1 and S2 but heck, still damn fine! New series starts early June - at least il save on buying series on DVD
ISL Poker Tutorial 10/10 hey..what can i say - I'm biased

LF mark II
It was like a scene from Jaws 2 - 'the return of the little fecker' - only this time he was meaner, more tougher and by god, just that wee bit bigger. This Little Fecker was one tough replacement, it was Little Fecker mark II
There I am sitting in my sitting room and to the left of my eye i see a suspicious black LF creeping along the wires of my computer. I turn my head silently, with the soundtrack of Jaws 2 running through my head... no.. it couldn't be... the LF was Dead, who the f'ck was this LF?
I inspected him more, not moving an inch - if i moved, the LF would scurry under some darkened corner of the room. This LF was not getting away from me. I was going to kill this LF.
He scurries near my foot - the temptation to stamp him with my shoe was tempting and although I have been a strict vegetarian for 16 years, i was going to enjoy the death of this LF. I was not going to become a home for LF 'Ah, go to no. 62, she lets you wander around the place'. This LF was going to become the martyr of all LF who ever dare cross my threshold.
This LF was going to die, and my god was I going to enjoy it.
He senses me, is it my adrenalin now flowing through my blood or was it just my stomach rumbling he heard? The LF was now a 'he' - I'd have more pleasure killing a male LF than a female LF - but we won't get into that just yet.
He obviously heard me as he darts the other way. I stand up, mighty and kong-like, I'd show the LF who ruled in no. 62 and bloody hell, it was not an LF - it was big fecker me!
LF V BF - who would win. Would the little Fecker make it? Would he scurry into a corner so dark I'd no longer see him? I ran, in slow motion to the kitchen, grabbed some kitchen roll and ran back to the sitting room (takes 2 steps from sitting room to kitchen, but what the hell - makes this story sound exciting)
I ran, out of breath by now (yep, even after only 2 steps) and the LF is gone. The BF however is determined. The LF will not live another 10 mins. (who knows, the LF could shag another LF and more would come....)
I scan the sitting room like i am Superman with X-Ray vision and i can sense the LF is under the curtain. It is like the LF and BF suddenly connects minds and I have somehow become Keanu Reeves in the Matrix, i am ''the one'', the almighty one.
I lift the curtain and there the LF resides. He tries to scurry away but it becomes too late. I am already gritting my teeth, perspiring a little too much and squeezing the life out of the kitchen roll in my hand. The LF is Mine... ALLLL mine.
I bend down, paper in hand and i place it over said LF and i pick him up and here it comes.... what all humans aspire to be... Masters of their homes.. Masters of the Universe....GOD!
and i SHRIEK!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't kill it!!!!
I start hopping from one leg to another (why do women do that when killing insects??) and with my left hand i fumble and try to open the patio doors - they finally open and i feck the LF out the door, paper roll too....
it becomes slow motion as i watch the paper roll hit by a gust of wind fall down in the middle of my (small) garden and watch for the LF to crawl out.....
Time has stopped.... I am no longer breathing... Have i killed LF Mark II?
The tissue blows away in the wind and all taht remains on the ground is LF on his back.... was he dead? and like a child taking its first breath as it comes into the world, the LF starts shaking his legs and manages to upend himself onto his belly and he stops... its like he stares back up at me and wonders why I didn't kill him.....
and with that, my stomach rumbles and by god, I am starving! I close the Patio door, close the curtain and think, f'uck the LF - I need food!

to kill or not to kill
Its well known with family and close friends that i am not an insect fan... if a wasp/bee comes into the same room, you can guarantee i run into the next nearest room
However the last few years, i have been able to tolerate other insects such as spiders, small flies, etc etc etc
Now that i have moved into my new place, i have a dilema....
If i let spiders wander around my place, will more come? I don't mind the 1 or 2 and thats all there has been since i moved in (my apt is clean thank ye very much)
The last week, i have been having battle (literally) with a bloody beetle... i know its the same one cos its back right leg was dodgy
I TRIED on numerous attempts for him to walk onto a newspaper or long piece of paper and then feck him out the door but the little blighter wouldnt climb onto paper, he'd walk around it
it got SO frustrating and the little fecker would move as quick as lightening that after some attempts to catch the little fecker, he'd disappear - it meant i removed everything from the floor and tried in vain to catch the LF (as i'll call him now)
This went on for days - well except Friday as I knew the fecker was in the sitting room and i just wanted to go to bed
Saturday morning, the LF is in my bedroom! i was late for the cinema so didn't have time to try get him out or whatever
Sunday i go looking for the LF and he is no-where to be found until 5 mins before i leave the apt, the LF is in the bathroom (most defintely the same one) and he's stuck in a puddle of water from earlier when i was washing my hands and then splashed the floor until i reached the towel behind me.
I look at him for a few seconds and then it comes to me: Do i kill the LF or not?
no. 1 i am now PIS**D off with the LF
no. 2 I do not want more LF in the apartment
no. 3 He was getting on my nerves
no. 4 I had to keep watching where i waslked incase i stood on the LF
no. 5 I had to go in 2 mins, if i let him be, he'll prob move back into my room
no. 6 the thoughts of a dirty LF crawling around was doing my nut int
So i went to toilet roll, rolled out BIG SHEETS and swooped him up, shrieking like a girl and plopped him into toilet and flushed toilet - i got my paper and put it in when flushing - did not want to see a dead body floating to the surface or even still, a half dead body dying....
I felt SOOO guilty the rest of the day!!!!!
Am i an idiot?
(i later saw a BABY spider and did the same thing - don't want no baby spiders growing into big LF in a few weeks and getting preggers and unleashing more LF!)

I bought oven gloves in Harrods other day and i was wearing them in London on the tube - Peadar was mortified!!!! They are gorgeous!
