  • Homemade liquer?

    Irish Cream Liquer(baileys)

    6ooml cream 2 eggs (pour through a sieve)
    1 tin condensed milk 2 cups whiskey
    1 tsp vanilla essence

    Mix these ingredients well and then in a separate bowl combine:

    2 tsp instant coffee 1-2 tsp Milo or hot chocolate powder
    ½ cup hot water.

    Stir well to dissolve coffee and Milo then add ½ cup cold water.

    Pour the 2nd mixture into the 1st, stir well and bottle. Will keep in the refrigerator for up to 10 days (yeh right!).


    Kahlua

    Boil 3 cups of sugar & 4 cups of water for one minute,

    add 50g instant coffee,

    cool and add 2 vanilla beans sliced in 1/2 lengthwise, add 26oz vodka,

    place in clean container (glass flagon is good if you have one) - ensure it is well sealed,

    Leave on side in fridge for 2 weeks, turn 1 - 2 times a day - take vanilla beans out after 2 weeks,

    enjoy...
